    Navy is four caption presets

    Navy is four caption presets in four groups, not a family. Classic Navy cannot list Ink, Halo, or Signature Navy. Hype, Snap, and Reveal have none.

    Navy is four caption presets, not one family. Search "navy caption" and you can land on Classic Navy, Ink Navy, Halo Navy, or Signature Navy. Those four rows share a colour word. They do not share a group, a face, a slot, or a related rail. Opening one of them is not opening navy.

    That split is a catalog boundary, not a compliment. Versely ships 45 caption presets in nine groups of five. A preset page is a family page. Related styles are the other four members of that group. Classic Navy can list Classic Yellow. It cannot list Ink Navy, Halo Navy, or Signature Navy. This page is the colour index those four URLs are not allowed to be.

    Classic Navy cannot list the other three

    A preset page answers a family query. The heading on Classic Navy is "Part of the Classic family." The grid under it is the five Classic ids: tiktok_classic, classic_yellow, classic_mint, classic_navy, classic_top. "More caption styles" is the same four siblings again. The loader that fills those rails filters on group, then drops the current id. Classic Navy's group is classic. Ink Navy's group is ink. The filter never returns ink_navy from a Classic URL.

    That is correct product. A family rail that mixed TikTok Sans with a thin stroke, Inter on a rounded card, Poppins Bold with a white ring, and Pacifico in the middle would be a junk drawer labelled navy. House style is a group plus one variant, held. The rail exists so you can move yellow to mint to top inside Classic, not so you can hop a colour token across four faces.

    Search does not know that. "Navy caption" is a colour query. The four URLs are family URLs with navy in the slug. Rank whichever page already has links and the other three disappear from the session. Bookmark this map if your brand kit says navy and you have not yet named the group.

    Four navy rows are four objects

    Navy in this catalog is a paint instruction, and the instruction is not the same instruction four times. Two hexes, even. Classic, Halo, and Signature use #0B1F44. Ink uses #0F172A on the card. Calling both navy is marketing language. The renderer does not merge them. Sampling Classic Navy's outline into an Ink card will not match Ink Navy. The cards are different paint.

The colder ring is the only change from everyday Classic. There is no card. There is no middle slot. If you wanted the social stroke and a navy brand ring, this is the row. If you wanted a slab behind the line, you are in the wrong group.

    Ink Navy (ink_navy) is Inter, white type on card #0F172A, bottom. Group Ink. Navy is the card, not the letters and not a stroke. The fill is white. There is no outline field on this row. The plate sits behind a deep navy rounded block. That is a different contrast strategy from Classic Navy's thin ring. Same colour word. Different physics. Same bottom default. Different hex.

    Halo Navy (halo_navy) is Poppins Bold, fill #0B1F44, white ring, bottom. Group Halo. Navy is the fill. The ring stays white. Compare that to Classic Navy: Classic paints navy on the outline and keeps the letters white. Halo paints navy on the letters and keeps the outline white. They share #0B1F44 and they are optical inverses. No card. Heavy face. Busy B-roll is Halo's job. Navy does not change that job. It only tints the glyphs.

    Signature Navy (signature_navy) is Pacifico, white fill, outline #0B1F44, middle. Group Signature. Navy is the stroke again, like Classic, but the face is handwriting and the slot is the centre of the frame. It is the only navy of the four that is not bottom. Cursive in the middle is a note, not a chyron. Do not burn Signature Navy on a full transcript because the kit said navy. You will hand-letter a paragraph over a face.

    Those four paragraphs are the whole map. A stroke, a card, a filled ring, and a middle watermark. Pick the object. Then pick the URL. Do not pick "navy" and hope the ranked page matches the plate.

    Ids are not interchangeable:

    If a brief says "use the navy captions," send it back. Ask which id. If the answer is "the navy ones," open the four URLs side by side and look at the live CSS.     Hype, Snap, and Reveal never shipped navy

    Nine groups. Four of them have a navy sibling. Five of them do not. The missing ones are not an oversight you can patch in a prompt.

    Hype is Oswald, white fill, a coloured stroke, bottom, subtitle. The five strokes are red on the base, then #2563EB blue, #16A34A green, #7C3AED purple, and black. There is no hype_navy. Hype Blue is bright #2563EB, not #0B1F44. Do not file Hype Blue under navy because both words sit near blue. The ring is a different paint and a different energy. Hype also has no top variant and no card. If you needed navy and condensed caps, the catalog does not sell that pair as one row.

    Snap is timed, pop, Anton, bottom. Variants change accentColor: pink #FF4785 on the base, then gold, cyan, lime, and white mono. There is no navy accent. Reveal is timed, typewriter, TikTok Sans, bottom. Accents are gold, cyan, pink, lime, mono. There is no navy accent. Snap and Reveal vary on the accent axis. They do not vary on a navy stroke, a navy card, or a navy fill. Screenshotting a karaoke look and painting #0B1F44 onto the current word is not a preset. It will not appear on Classic Navy's related rail either.

    Paper is Montserrat on a white, cream, or sheer card. Cream is #FFF3DC. That is warm, not navy. Headline is Bebas, title-card energy: yellow fill, red stroke, centre, bottom. No navy sibling. Those two absences matter if your kit said "navy on everything." Paper and Headline will not grow a navy row because you wished them onto the colour query.

    If the job is karaoke and the kit is navy, you have a conflict the catalog will not resolve for you. Stay on Snap or Reveal and live with gold, cyan, pink, lime, or mono. Or leave karaoke and take one of the four navy subtitle rows. Do not invent a tenth family named Navy Pop. The nine groups are the shelf.

    A silent plate does not unlock a secret navy either. Captions still need speech, or you are overlaying a line you wrote. Navy on a mute product loop is still one of the four objects, applied as type on a file, not a generate.     Pick the group first, then the navy sibling

    Order of operations is group, then variant. Colour is last.

    1. Name the job. Speech as a thin social stroke. Speech on a dark card. Speech that has to survive busy B-roll. A handwritten note in the middle. Karaoke. A title card.
    2. Open that group on caption styles.
    3. If the group is Classic, Ink, Halo, or Signature and the kit is navy, take the navy sibling. Hold it.
    4. If the group is Hype, Snap, Reveal, Paper, or Headline, navy is not on the menu. Pick a real variant those groups actually ship, or change the job.

    That is finishing, not branding theatre. A talking-head series that flips Classic Navy on Monday and Halo Navy on Tuesday has not "stayed navy." It has changed face, weight, ring, and optical invert while keeping a colour word in the filename. Viewers do not read filenames.

    The test that picks the object:

    • Did someone speak, and do you want a thin social stroke with a navy ring? Classic Navy.
    • Did someone speak, and is the grade dark enough that a card should sit under the line? Ink Navy.

    Four briefs that fail the test:

    1. "Use navy captions" with no URL. Incomplete. Ask which path.
    2. Landing on Classic Navy from search and burning it on a graded night interior that needed the Ink card. The stroke will look thin. That is the wrong object, not a contrast bug inside Classic.
    3. "Navy karaoke on this ad read." Snap and Reveal have no navy accent. Karaoke or navy. Not both, as a shipped row.
    4. Mixing Classic Navy, Halo Navy, and Signature Navy in one week because they all say navy. That is three shows. Pick one group.

    Picture lock first. The AI caption generator is the burn path: speech in, styled type out. None of the four navy rows invent a line. Classic, Ink, and Halo are subtitle looks on a transcript. Signature is a block you author, sitting in the middle. If nobody spoke and you still need a navy line, overlay the copy. Do not hope Classic Navy transcribes silence.

    If you already burned the wrong navy, restyle. Do not regenerate the scene to "fix the captions." Classic Navy to Ink Navy is a card appearing where a stroke was. Halo Navy is navy letters where white letters were. Signature Navy moves the block to the middle. Those are layout changes. Recrop if the new object hits a face or a pack. Then burn again.

    Store the preset id in the kit, not the word navy. classic_navy survives a handoff. "Navy" does not. An editor who inherits "navy" from Slack should be able to open one URL and know the face, the slot, and the paint. If they cannot, the brief named a homonym.
