Repeatable formats

Eight formats you can run every week

A format is a fixed structure with one variable. Decide the beats, the cast, the set and the captions once — then the only weekly decision is what goes in the slot.

    This or That

Two options your audience already argues about, one frame, and a verdict you're willing to defend.

Best for: Any brand with opinions its customers don't unanimously share

Weekly, or fortnightly once the easy archive is used up· 15-25 seconds · 5 beatsworkflow match

    Then vs Now

Turn the archive you already have into a format — the same subject, photographed twice, years apart.

Best for: Brands with history — real archives, old versions, old prices, old rooms

Weekly, batching two or three submissions per episode· 20-35 seconds · 5 beatsworkflow match

    Rate My X

The audience supplies the content and gets something useful back — the only format here where the supply problem solves itself.

Best for: Expertise brands whose audience makes something they can show

Weekly, or whenever you can genuinely test a pair· 20-30 seconds · 5 beats

    Budget vs Premium

Answer the question every buyer in your category is actually asking: does the expensive one earn it?

Best for: Brands whose customers are choosing between tiers rather than between categories

    Weekly· 15-30 seconds · 5 beats

    Speed Run

Add a clock to a task you already do and you have tension, a number, and a reason to come back next week.

Best for: Anyone whose work has a visible process — trades, kitchens, studios, setups

Twice a week — it is the cheapest format here to produce· 8-15 seconds · 5 beats

    Overheard

The shortest format on this list: two lines that everyone in your industry has heard, and no explanation afterwards.

Best for: Brands whose audience shares an in-group vocabulary — agencies, trades, clinics, kitchens

Weekly, on the same day· 25-45 seconds · 5 beats

    Customer Question of the Week

The most durable format on this list, because the supply is your support inbox and it refills itself.

Best for: Any business with a support inbox, a sales call, or a comments section

Weekly, and only in weeks you actually shipped· 20-40 seconds · 5 beats

    What We Fixed This Week

Turn shipping into a format — and turn the thing you're still bad at into the reason people believe the rest.

Best for: Products that change — software, services, menus, processes

What these pages will not do

They will not pretend the published workflow library already contains every one of these formats. It doesn’t: 3 of the 8 have a workflow that genuinely runs in their shape, and those pages say so. The other 5 name the closest published structure and tell you to clone it and swap the asset map, which is the honest instruction rather than a fabricated match.

Three formats that might have belonged here were cut for a different reason. Myth vs fact, the ranked countdown and “three things I wish I knew” are already covered as named rows in the viral formats breakdown, and adding a page each would have put this hub in competition with a piece that already ranks.

A format is only a format once it’s scheduled

Set it once. It writes a new version every time it runs. Point the agent at the workflow you built for the first episode and give it a cadence in plain English.
