How it works
You talk to the Versely agent. It plans, you approve, it films, one episode at a time.
- Step 1
Type your idea
One line is enough: a revenge story, a contract marriage, an office comedy. No idea yet? The agent pitches three.
- Step 2
Answer a couple of questions
At most two quick rounds of multiple-choice questions, such as the genre, the episode length and who the leads are.
- Step 3
Approve the cast, script and price
You see the cast with their portraits, the season's episode titles, Episode 1's lines and the exact credit price. Nothing is filmed until you say yes.
- Step 4
Episode 1 is filmed
It takes about 10 minutes. The episode lands in Media in your Versely account and you get a notification.
- Step 5
Next episode, same cast
The agent writes the next script from what has happened so far. You approve its lines and price, and it is filmed with the same characters.

Short dramas, answered
Do the same characters appear in every episode?
Yes. The cast is set when the season is planned: each character gets a portrait, a look and a voice, and that portrait is the reference for every scene they are in. After each episode is filmed, the agent also notes what the characters now know, so the next script follows on from it.
How long is each episode?
15 or 30 seconds, vertical 9:16, at 540p or 720p. A 30-second episode is two scenes of about 15 seconds each. A season has up to 10 episodes, and you film them one at a time, so you can stop after any episode.
Which languages can the dialogue be in?
English by default. Ask for another language, such as Hindi or Spanish, when you plan the show. The scripts are written in that language and the characters speak it.
How much does a short drama cost?
Planning the season, casting and writing scripts cost nothing. Filming is paid in credits per episode: about 135 credits for a 30-second episode at 540p and about 285 at 720p, and about half that for 15 seconds. The exact price is shown before each episode is filmed, and an episode that fails to film is refunded.
Who owns the shows I make?
Under Versely's terms you can use what you make for personal and commercial purposes, and you are responsible for using it lawfully. Your ideas and anything you upload stay yours.
Can I use my own avatar?
Yes. You can cast characters from your Versely Avatars, including the ready-made cast. The avatar's portrait is reused, so that character keeps the same face in every episode.
What isn't allowed?
Every character is a fictional adult. Versely will not cast anyone under 18, and it turns down shows built on celebrities, public figures or other real people, and on real brands or products.
Where do finished episodes go?
Each episode lands in Media in your Versely account as a vertical MP4, and you get a notification when it is ready. From there you can download it, add captions or post it with Auto Post.
