Stock UGC B-roll is a marketplace search, not a generated talking head

search_broll finds reaction clips you can overlay. Generating a presenter is a different model row.

Stock UGC B-roll is a marketplace search, not a generated talking head. Need a reaction clip? Search the marketplace. search_broll looks up stock UGC — reaction and talking-head clips — by query, emotion, or gender. get_available_broll (supporting) checks the library you already own. This job does not mint a presenter from a prompt. Generating a talking avatar because you wanted a nod-and-smile overlay wastes credits on a model row when a clip you may already own would have done.

Search stock UGC B-roll clips is the named capability. The AI B-roll generator is a different door: it generates B-roll. This agent job finds marketplace UGC. Owned clips (free or already purchased) cost nothing to reuse. New marketplace clips are purchased separately. Search is not generate, and it is not a purchase until you take one.

    What this job actually is

You describe the clip: excited female reaction, talking-head nod, a look you can overlay on a product video. For clips you already have, the agent checks your library first. Beyond that, it searches the marketplace and returns matches you can overlay.

Output is a list of clips, purchased or purchasable. The composite — reaction over product — is overlay a talking head on my video. Search does not composite. Overlay does not search. Doing both in one muddled sentence is how you generate a face you did not need.

    What wastes credits

A talking-avatar generate. Make a talking avatar video is a mouth pass on a picture. B-roll search is a stock performance. If you needed a specific line spoken, generate speech and an avatar. If you needed a reaction, search.

Generating B-roll from text. Scenic generated pads are a video generate. UGC marketplace clips are people. "B-roll of a city at night" is not search_broll.

Buying a clip you already own. Ask what you already have access to. Reuse is free. A second purchase of the same nod is how a library turns into a receipt pile.

Hook packs vs stock opens. Premade catalog hooks and create_hook_pack are branded openings. Marketplace UGC is a face, not a claim. Do not pay pack price to browse reactions, and do not expect a reaction clip to invent a line for your SKU.

    The test

Do you need an existing UGC-style reaction or talking-head, not a new generated person?

If yes, this is the job. Query, check library, then marketplace.

If you need spoken copy on a face, avatar or lipsync. If you need scenic motion, generate video. If you already have the reaction file, overlay it. This is one named agent job. Using it for a different job wastes credits.

    FAQ

Does searching the marketplace generate a new clip?

No. It returns stock UGC. Generation is a different tool. If nothing matches, you still have not spent a video model. You also have not created a performer.

Are owned clips billed again when I reuse them?

No. Free or already-purchased clips cost nothing to reuse. New marketplace clips are a separate purchase. Ask the library first.

Can the agent overlay the clip in the same search call?

Search returns candidates. Overlay is a second job with a base video and an overlay video. Find the keeper, then composite. Combining them is how you overlay the first result you did not actually pick.

Why not always generate the reaction so it matches my product?

Because then you are paying a generate for a nod. Matching is the overlay and the cut, not a custom actor. Generate a presenter when the line is the content. Search UGC when the face reacting is the content.
