Recraft the housing. Overlay the SKU. /for/audiologists is a different job.

A hearing-aid OEM listing is a shell: dome, receiver wire, battery door, colourway, the imprint a distributor will match against a catalog row. It is not a booth, a family conversation, or a constructed clinician explaining an audiogram. Recraft the housing as a still. Stamp the SKU you actually sell. Leave the fitting-room page to the clinic.

The housing is a design still

Photograph the unit if you have the sample. If you need a catalog plate that does not exist yet — a new colourway, a receiver-in-canal silhouette, a charging case lockup — that is a stills generate, not a talking clip.

Recraft V4 is Recraft's latest text-to-image row: design quality and typography support, five credits, flat per call. Content type is image. audio is null. No duration. No video resolution. Features on the row: design quality, typography, vector-style. That is a housing, a case, a lockup — not a booth film.

Prompt the object, not a wearer. "Matte beige RIC housing, receiver wire, size-guide next to a coin, catalog lighting, no person." Stop. "A patient smiling after first fit" is a person. In this category that person reads as a patient, and a patient you invented is both a likeness problem and a testimonial you did not collect.

Approval means a screenshot still reads as the SKU. Zoom the imprint. If the battery door is the wrong family, reroll the still. Five credits is cheap enough to be strict. A video credit spent on the wrong door is a cousin device.

Do not ask a video model to invent the shell. Text-to-video will paint a prettier aid with a melted logo. That is a failed SKU, not a cinematic upgrade. Recraft the housing. Then decide whether it ever needs to move.

Overlay the catalog string. Do not hope the model typesets it.

Model names, SKU codes, receiver lengths, IP ratings, and battery type belong in type you wrote. Video models do not typeset a medical-adjacent catalog number. Image models will try; they will also invent a character.

If Recraft already lettered the plate and every glyph matches the spec sheet, keep that still. If the housing is a photograph and the string is missing, burn it after picture lock. Add a text overlay to a video stamps one authored line, whole clip, top / center / bottom. It does not transcribe. It does not listen. "RIC-312 / IP68" is overlay copy, not a prompt adjective.

    Do not:

    • Prompt Recraft to "also write the full SKU family across the table" and ship the first misspelling.
    • Ask Veo to put the catalog number on a keypad the unit does not have.
    • Generate an audiogram chart as proof. That is a clinical document, not a housing still.

Wrong geometry on a hearing device is a safety-adjacent miss. Wrong type is a listing miss. Both are cheaper to catch on a five-credit still than on a motion pass.

The audiologist page is the family conversation

/for/audiologists is the clinic job: write to the daughter, not the denial. Fitting-room footage, a real switch-on with consent, captions because the audience cannot rely on the mix. That page is not an OEM catalog. Do not rewrite it. Do not steal its hook for a SKU orbit.

OEM content that books a distributor is the shell turning, the case lid, the colour chips. Clinic content that books a test is a named clinician on camera, or an empty booth, or type the practice actually stands behind. Mixing them is how a housing plate becomes a fake expert.

Synthetic presenters on health and finance are a YPP kill. A constructed audiologist prescribing a fit, a generated patient describing "clarity," a white coat walking an OTC-versus-fitted argument — those are health-adjacent personas. Labelling the face AI does not leave the bucket. The OEM listing does not need a mouth.

A mascot housing is not a human expert. A photoreal clinician is. Hold the shell.

Motion only after the shell is the shell

If the still would fail a distributor audit, stop. If it would pass, the AI product video generator can add a slow orbit or a case-lid open on that plate. Prompt only the camera. Do not prompt "a peaceful first-fit in 4K." Do not generate an ear canal. Do not generate a residual-looking ear or a child's head. Minors are a hard stop.

A new colourway is a new Recraft still, not a prompt adjective on last week's RIC.

Score after lock if you need a case-click. Recraft will not speak. Overlay the SKU you own. Ship the housing. Send the family conversation to the audiologist page.

    FAQ

Can Recraft V4 generate the fitting-room video?

No. Content type is image. Five credits buys a still with design quality and typography support. A fitting-room clip is a clinic job on /for/audiologists, filmed with consent, or it is not this listing.

Why not generate a friendly audiologist to explain the SKU?

A constructed clinician on a hearing device is a health-adjacent expert persona. That is the YouTube pattern that closes Partner Program eligibility. Overlay the string. Show the shell. Put a real named person on camera only if they agreed to appear.

The housing photo already exists. Do I still Recraft it?

No. Recraft is for a plate you do not have. A pack shot you already approved is the still. Overlay the SKU if the imprint is missing. Animate that file if you need motion. Do not regenerate a cousin shell because a design model is sitting in the catalog.

Is a generated ear close-up safer than a generated face?

No. An identifiable ear on a device still reads as a patient. Schematic hardware is the OEM job. Anatomy explainers belong on the clinic page, drawn as diagrams, not as a private canal you invented.
