Protein bars: readable wrapper is Ideogram or overlay, never Veo

The job is the printed sleeve on a locked bar still. Do not restage the Primo workflow as a new Omni board.

A protein bar that ships is a readable wrap — flavor, net weight, the protein line — sitting on a bar you already photographed or a still you already typeset. Veo will smear that sleeve into word-shaped texture while it invents a gym. Kling Omni will restage a talking pouch. Neither is this SKU. Letter the wrap. Lock the still. Then move the bar.

    The sleeve is lettering

Most video models give you a bar-shaped object with a word-shaped smear. That is not a wrapper. Ideogram V4 is the lettering row: 6 credits, text-to-image, text rendering, posters and logos listed. Aspects 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4. Quote the string. "Peanut Butter 60g" is the brief, not "a premium protein bar with some lettering." Proof at 100%. A wrong digit is a different SKU.

Veo is a cinematic talking row: native audio, short clips, a scene. It is a bad typesetter. Asking it to hold a protein line while it also does a slow push across a kitchen is how you spend the expensive meter on a misspelled wrap you cannot edit.

If the wrap is already on the bar in a photo you took, keep the photograph. Ideogram is for the graphic you do not have yet — a flavor card, an end card, a net-weight stamp that has to read at thumbnail size. Do not ask a poster engine for a full nutrition panel and a "may contain" block in one prompt. Legal lines that will change are overlay, not pixels in the generate.

Overlay if the wrap is already on the bar

Add a text overlay to a video burns one authored line — flavor, a CTA, the protein number — for the whole clip. It does not transcribe. Position is top, center, or bottom. That is the path for a claim you typed after picture lock.

Keep the plate clean in the generate. Type the real string after you would actually post the still. Offers change. Drops change. A flavor line baked into Veo glyphs is a reroll. A flavor line burned as overlay is an edit.

Crop to 9:16 before you overlay. Top, center, and bottom sit in a different safe zone after a reframe. If the line has to change at timestamps — "new," then the flavor, then a CTA — that is timed overlays, not one persistent badge, and not auto-captions. A mute bar still has nothing to transcribe.

/for/nutritionists is a clinician page: myth-busts, plate walkthroughs, comparison ads aimed at a patient audience. A bar brand is a SKU. Do not rewrite the nutritionist page as a wrapper film. A photoreal host prescribing "eat this for recovery" is a health-advice persona. Hold the bar. Overlay the number you can show on the listing.

    Primo is a different recipe

/workflows/primo-protein-vs-xxx is a locked scene list: eleven talking clips, two character assets, 9:16, Pixar-style pouch versus tub. Recreate that graph if you want that comparison. Cloning is free. Running is priced like the generation it is. Do not open Kling Omni and ask for "six shots of a protein bar that talks." Omni storyboards up to six shots inside one generate, usually a 15-second file. Identities have to survive inside that generate. There is no eleven-scene planner. Restaging is drift.

A bar sleeve is not a talking pouch. Primo's comedy beats are pasture versus pantry. Your wrap is a printed sleeve on a locked still. Swap assets on the Primo recipe only if you are actually shipping that comparison. Do not steal the energy as a new Omni board of photoreal bars that lecture.

Unverifiable superlatives do not travel. If you recreate Primo, fix every number, origin, and "actually works" line you cannot point at the product page for. A cartoon XXX tub is a type. A generated teardown of a named rival's wrap is a different problem.

Product video after the wrap reads

The AI product video generator is the motion door once the still is the still. Reference photos are the contract: even light, the front of pack, the sleeve in focus. Describe the scene, not the product. The failure mode is a beautiful shot of a cousin bar. Zoom to 100% on the wrap before you buy motion. Fine text is the first thing a video model loses.

Do not send Veo a paragraph that restates the ingredients. Do not send Omni a brief that restates Primo. Letter on Ideogram, or keep the photo, or overlay the line. Then animate the locked bar. Two jobs. One SKU.

    FAQ

Can Veo typeset "20g protein" on the wrapper if I put the string in the prompt?

Do not. Prompted type in a video generate is a miss you cannot edit. Generate the lockup as a still on Ideogram V4, keep a photograph, or overlay the line after picture lock.

Should I recreate Primo Protein vs Other Brand for a bar SKU?

Only if you want that eleven-scene comparison with swapped assets. Recreate the locked recipe; do not Omni a new talking-bar film. A printed sleeve on a locked still is a different object.

Do I still need Ideogram if the photo already shows the printed sleeve?

No. Keep the photo. Ideogram is for type that is not in the file yet. Animate the real bar. Overlay flavor lines that will change.

Where do flavor lines go if they will change every drop?

Off the generate. Burn them as overlay after the take. A scent or flavor name Ideogram can hold is a short string. A rotating claim is an editor job.
