Signature captions are cursive in the middle, not a transcript

Signature is Pacifico, centered (position middle), kind=subtitle. It is a personal watermark you author. It does not listen to the take. Flowing cursive in the middle of the frame is a note you typed. It is not karaoke. It is not a transcript of speech. Burn it after picture lock. Do not ask a video model to “hand-letter my name in the shot.”

The group exists so one account can look like one handwriting. Mix it with a punch family on the same week and you have two shows.

Pacifico, middle, subtitle

The base preset is handwritten, labelled Signature: flowing cursive, centered, personal and warm. The face is pacifico — category handwriting, preview “Beach Vibes,” CSS 'Pacifico', cursive. Colour is white. Outline is black at width 1. Position is middle. Kind is subtitle, not timed. There is no effect on the style object. Words do not pop. Words do not type on. The whole string sits.

That is the whole contract. Subtitle kind means the line is a block you authored (or a phrase burned as a block). It does not consume a start time per word. Snap is the other object: kind=timed, Anton, effect pop, position bottom. Snap is a karaoke-shaped listener. Signature is a watermark. Do not load Signature because you wanted words to bounce on the beat. The family cannot do that job.

Pacifico is a caption/overlay face. It is not Ideogram and not a generate. You pick the font on a burn. If the line has to be a handle or a sign-off, type it. If the line has to be what the mouth said, transcribe it on a different tool — cursive in the middle of a talking clip fights the mouth.

Center is the default because the group is a note on the picture, not a chyron. Headline lives up top. Snap lives on the bottom. Plan the still so the middle is empty enough to read.

Five variants, one face

The group page collects five presets. All of them share Pacifico and subtitle kind. What changes is colour, outline, or vertical slot:

• Signature (handwritten) — white, black outline, middle. The base. Judge the family here.
• Signature Bottom (signature_bottom) — same face and stroke, bottom of frame. Use it when the middle is a face you refuse to cover.
• Signature Gold (signature_gold) — #FFD700 fill, black outline, middle.
• Signature Pink (signature_pink) — #FF8FC7 fill, black outline, middle.
• Signature Navy (signature_navy) — white fill, outline #0B1F44, middle.

That is the variation. Gold is not a transcript mode. Pink is not karaoke. Navy is a darker stroke for pale grades. If you needed word-timed punch, you needed Snap or Reveal, not a colourway of Signature.

One account, one handwriting. The group meta is for storytime, personal vlogs, relationship and lifestyle: a handwritten note rather than a broadcast caption. If the clip is a listicle recap, Headline is the family. Signature is the sign-off.

Burn-in is not a generate

Add a text overlay to a video stamps one authored line on the file. Position is a three-way enum: top, center, bottom. Signature’s default maps to center. The string is yours. Silence, native dialogue, a music bed — none of that changes the glyphs. Using overlay as auto-captions wastes a burn on a line you invented while the speech went untyped.

Add captions to a video is the listening job. Dressing a transcript in Pacifico-in-the-middle is still a transcript wearing a costume. Signature is the handle or the one-line thesis you wrote before the take existed.

Do not:

• Prompt Veo or any catalog row to “handwrite my brand in cursive across the clip.” You will get misspelled Pacifico-ish strokes you cannot edit.
• Treat Signature as a karaoke effect for a song. Timed families listen. This family does not.
• Burn the overlay before you crop. Center on 16:9 is not center after a 9:16 reframe. Crop the keeper, then print.
• Mix Signature with Snap on the same file unless you like two voices of type arguing.

The generate is the picture. The burn is type. Credits on a model do not typeset a watermark. If the plate is still a miss, you are watermarking a miss.

Not a transcript, not a second language page

A transcript is a time-aligned record of speech. Signature has no word clock. If the take has speech you want on screen, transcribe it, then pick a subtitle family that sits at the bottom. Signature in the middle on top of a full transcript is a handwritten paragraph over a face.

If you needed the words to change at 0s, 2s, and 4s, that is timed overlay, not this group. Signature is one look, one string, sitting.

The font page is the face. The group page is the five variants. The overlay editor is the stamp. None of those is a video row. Do not rewrite the handwritten style page as a prompt guide. The preset is the prompt.

Does Signature transcribe the take if I pick Pacifico?

No. kind is subtitle. The face is Pacifico. The position on the base preset is middle. Nothing in the preset listens. Captions listen. Overlay prints the string you typed.

When do I use Signature Bottom instead of the base?

When the middle of the frame is the subject you refuse to cover — a face, a pack, a gesture. Signature Bottom keeps Pacifico and the black outline and moves the block to the bottom. It is still not karaoke.

Is this the same as Snap or lyric karaoke?

No. Snap is timed, Anton, effect pop, bottom. Signature has no effect field and does not consume per-word start times. Cursive in the middle is a watermark. Word-pop on the beat is a different product.

Can I generate the cursive inside the video model and skip the burn?

You can try. You will get uneditable lettering, often misspelled, baked into pixels. Lock the picture. Type the line. Burn Signature or overlay. That is the job.
