Tourism: destination plates vs X-native Imagine

If the post is not for X, do not pick Grok because it is trendy.

If the post is not for X, do not pick Grok because it is trendy.

A tourism board does not have a "video model." It has destinations. A harbour at blue hour that has to survive a visitor-centre loop, a YouTube pre-roll, and a 16:9 site header is a destination plate. A six-second clip that should look born on X is a Grok Imagine take. Those are different files. Routing both through Imagine because Grok is in the Slack is how the harbour gets a loosely-styled dialect it did not ask for.

Versely vs Grok Imagine is the switcher: X as the destination, or Imagine as one row. This page is the board brief.

A destination plate is not an X dialect

Veo 3.1 is the plate job: native audio, official 4K tier, 4 / 6 / 8 second clips, 16:9 or 9:16, 720p / 1080p / 4K. Cinematic physics. A file you can park on a large display. That is this harbour on a screen that is not X's player.

Grok Imagine Video is the other object. Durations on that family go 6, 10, 15, 20 or 30 seconds. Native audio is on the generate rows. The published video row ceilings at 720p. The look is loosely-styled on purpose. Grok Imagine when the destination is X is the routing rule. Reverse the usual picker. Name the network. Then pick the family.

A Veo master squeezed into an X crop is a destination plate in the wrong clothes. An Imagine clip uploaded as the YouTube hero is an X dialect wearing a tourism logo.

Trendy is not a routing rule

Boards default to whatever is loud this month. The lighthouse does not care.

Use Imagine when the timeline is X, the look can be Imagine's look, and you may continue in-family. Grok Imagine Extend adds 6 or 10 seconds from a timestamp; Extend itself is silent. Sending that file to a Veo extend often resets the look at the seam.

Do not use Imagine when the job is a 4K destination plate, a talking explainer, a visitor-centre loop, or a client master that has to survive a grade — or when you picked it because Grok is "the new one" and the post is going to Instagram and the homepage.

Native sharing from Imagine into an X post is an advantage only if you use it. Generating Imagine clips into a folder and uploading them as the main destination throws away the reason you chose the family.

Veo when the file has to travel

A board week is mostly travel: the same harbour on three surfaces. Run Veo 3.1 for the plate that has to leave X. Change the row when the slate actually is an X-native short. Imagine is a catalog row on the same credit pool. Presence in the roster is not a default.

Original Content Rewards are not a generate setting. Eligibility cares about original posts and eligible impressions, not which model you clicked. Do not pick Imagine because you want to get paid on X. Pick Imagine because the file belongs on X. A Veo plate posted to X can still be original.

List the last ten clips the board shipped. Eight on YouTube, the site, and a looping display: Imagine was a trend tax. Eight on X in Imagine's look, extended in-family: Imagine was the right house for those eight. The other two still needed a different family.

Open Imagine when the post is an X post in Imagine's dialect. Close it when the file is a destination.

    FAQ

Is Grok Imagine worse than Veo for tourism?

Wrong first question. On an X-native short in Imagine's look, Imagine can be the right file even if Veo would win a blind eight-second beauty contest. On a 4K harbour plate for a visitor-centre loop, it is the wrong file even if Grok is trending.

Do I have to generate inside X's own UI?

No. The catalog rows exist so the launcher does not have to be grok.com. The destination can still be X. The side-by-side is Versely vs Grok Imagine.

Can I make one Imagine master and crop it for YouTube?

You can export any MP4. You will still have Imagine's look and a 720p-class ceiling on the published video row. Make the YouTube plate on Veo 3.1. Make the X short on Imagine if it should look like Imagine.

Does using Imagine help a tourism account with X Rewards?

Not by itself. Rewards care about original posts and eligible impressions, not the generator. Destination fit is not eligibility.
