Still then Kling/Veo fire. The surround is the product: stone, mantel, millwork, the niche the crew actually built. Flame is motion you buy after that still is locked. Generate the fireplace and you get a prettier room the homeowner does not own. Photograph the install. Animate the fire.

Lock the surround before you buy fire
Frame one is a photo of the finished install, straight on, no wide-angle that fattens the hearth. Include the mantel and the wall it meets. Prompt only the flame and the camera:

The image-to-video generator keeps your upload as 0:00. A text-to-video "cozy living room fireplace" is a set. Installers sell this surround. If the shot has to land on a tighter firebox, shoot that still as a last frame. Do not prompt a new surround into existence at second six.
Silent flame vs native crackle
Kling 3 Turbo I2V is a silent plate. Score later, or cut against a recording from the install. Use it for 1080p motion on a short loop when audio already lives in the edit. Durations run 3–15 seconds.
Veo 3.1 is the row when the file has to sound like fire in the same pass: native audio on, 4 / 6 / 8 seconds, 720p / 1080p / 4K. Write the crackle into the prompt. Unspecified audio is how you get a score the living room never had. Eight seconds is the window, not a 30-second ambience loop.
Do not pick Veo for a 20-second silent website background because the landing page says cinematic. Do not pick Kling Turbo for a spoken installer line. That still is not a mouth.
Thirty seconds is a different hold
A homepage loop under a form is a duration problem, not a prettier-fire problem. Seedance 2.5 I2V extends one locked frame up to 30 seconds without stitching 8-second cousins. Output tops out at 720p. Native audio is on the row. If the surround has to survive that long, this is the lock. If you need 4K crackle, you are in Veo's short window, then an edit.
Seedance 2.5 vs Veo 3.1 vs Kling 3, picked by job is the same router: identity lock on Seedance, always-on dialogue and 4K on Veo, motion value on Kling. Fireplace content is usually lock plus flame. A Seedance hold plus a Veo firebox close-up is two jobs. Averaging them into one prompt is a worse mantel and a worse flame.
Do not invent a prettier mantel
No added stone. No restyled millwork. No fake family on the sofa. No seasonal wreath unless you photographed one. The crew's work is the still. Fire is the only thing you buy from a model.
The test: pause on frame one and the last frame. Same surround, same TV, same grout. Only the flame moved. If the mantel grew a shelf, you generated a different install. Lock the still. Then Kling or Veo fire.
FAQ
Can I generate the whole living room and drop my surround in later?
No. The surround will not be yours. Start from the install photo. Scene models invent architecture. That is the failure mode.
Kling 3 Turbo or Veo 3.1 for a silent website loop?
Kling 3 Turbo I2V is already silent, 3–15 seconds, up to 1080p. Veo will try to give you audio you will then strip. If the loop has to run past 15 seconds, Seedance 2.5 I2V is the hold at 720p.
Should the installer talk over the flame?
That is a different file. Record the installer, or run a talking-presenter row on a still of them with a grant. Do not send the surround still to a presenter model and hope the stone speaks.
What if the firebox was empty when we photographed?
You can still I2V flame into the box, but inspect every frame for melt on the surround. If the stone warps, reshoot with a real fire or a safe display flame and lock that still instead. The surround must survive the motion.
