Jerky: the pouch window is the SKU; overlay flavor, skip the ranch

Animate the jerky pouch you photographed; overlay flavor, and skip the talking rancher.

I2V the bag you photographed. Flavor line is overlay. Do not generate a talking rancher.

A jerky SKU is the window: the cut, the glaze, the speck of pepper you actually packed. Buyers recognise that rectangle. A text-to-video "artisanal ranch jerky on a fence rail" rebuilds the bag, the meat, and a person who does not work for you. The job is still-to-motion on a locked pouch, then type you typed.

The pouch window is the catalog

Shoot the bag you would send retail: front panel, readable window, lighting that does not blow the film. That JPEG is the SKU. Image-to-video starts from that file. Frame one is the pouch. The prompt is camera and physics — a slow push into the window, a slight crinkle, dust in the light — not a second description of teriyaki.

Re-describing the flavor in the motion prompt is how the model argues with the pixels and reprints a cousin bag. If the still already says "Hot Honey," leave those words alone. If they are wrong in the photo, reshoot or reprint. Ten seconds of a typo is a longer typo.

One approved still is enough for a feed hold. Three stills are for a turn that has to land on the back panel.

Seedance 2.5 is the still-to-motion family when you want a longer single pass: 4–30s, 720p, 47 credits, native audio. I2V is the job on that family; the published URL is that slug. Native audio means a silent brief can still grow a soundtrack you did not choose. Write the mix (a bag crinkle, quiet room) or pick a silent image-to-video row if you do not want a mouth. A rancher line in the prompt on a native-audio model is how you get a persona you will then have to cut.

Flavor is overlay, not a generate

Heat, sweet, "small-batch," a city, a SKU — those strings are claims. Add a text overlay burns one authored line on the locked clip: top, center, or bottom, whole file. It does not transcribe. It does not listen to a bag. It typesets the words legal already approved.

Do not ask the video model to letter "Habanero" across the window. Video type is a cousin cultivar. Do not ask it to invent a Scoville, a grams-of-protein callout, or a farm name. Overlay the line you would print on a sticker. If the words need to change at 0s, 2s, and 4s, that is timed overlay on a later pass, not a new pouch generate.

If the bag in the still already carries the flavor, you may not need type. Empty is information: you can still see whether the window held. Type hides a drifted seal.

    Skip the rancher

A talking cowboy, a constructed pitmaster, a "founder on the ranch" who is a generate, is a different brief and a bad one for this SKU. The product is the window, not a mouth. You do not need a persona to explain jerky. You need the bag, then a line you wrote.

If the row has native audio, a "friendly rancher VO" in the prompt is a soundtrack you cannot edit and a face you may not have meant to mint. If the row is silent, the same prompt still wastes the take on lips that never sound. Score after lock if you want a bed. Overlay after lock if you want a flavor word.

A real named person on camera is a shoot, with a grant. It is not this generate.

This bag is not the butcher counter

/for/butcher-shops is the block: primal breakdown, dry-age door, a regular talked through a cut. That is a shop with a counter. Jerky in a printed pouch is CPG. Do not restage the butcher page as a ranch film and swap in a bag.

/for/farmers-market-vendors is stall economics: Friday-night teaser, harvest still, what is on the table tomorrow. A pouch brand that sells online is not that cadence. Name the difference and stay on the window.

Text-to-video of "cattle at golden hour" is a landscape ad. It will not hold your die-line. If you needed scenery, shoot scenery as a separate still, or do not use it as a substitute for the SKU. The pouch is the product. Animate that.

    FAQ

Can I prompt "our exact bag" in text-to-video instead of uploading it?

No. A sentence is not a window. The model will invent a pouch and a cut. Upload the pack shot to image-to-video and describe only the camera.

Why overlay the flavor if the bag already shows it?

You overlay when the still is unlabeled, when the claim is a second line (heat, city, CTA), or when legal rewrote the words after the photo. You do not overlay to hide a bag the model already redrew. Fix the still.

Does Seedance 2.5 stay silent if I do not mention a rancher?

Not as a promise. The family lists native audio. A quiet brief can still grow a bed. Write the mix, or use a silent I2V row when the file must have no voice.

Is this the same as butcher-shop content with a jerky SKU in the case?

No. The butcher /for page is craft at the block. This page is the printed pouch as a catalog still. Different object, different plate.
