A lab-coat mill sells fabric, stitch, pocket count, and a length that matches the spec sheet. It does not sell a diagnosis. The plate that ships is the garment on a hanger, a ghost mannequin, or a form — collar depth, cuff opening, snap tape, embroidery that already exists on the sample. A photoreal talking “doctor” wearing that coat is a constructed health expert. YouTube treats that shape as inauthentic content. Do not buy a presenter to move a SKU.

The coat is the mill SKU

OEM lab-coat content has one object: this run of this coat. Snap tape versus buttons. Side vents. A chest pocket that actually sits where the tech pack put it. A buyer at a hospital laundry or a distributor is checking construction, not bedside manner.

Photograph the approved sample. Hang it. Light the collar so the interior fold reads. Keep the label in frame if the label is the claim. That still is the contract. Motion, if you need it, is a slow turn or a fabric settle on image-to-video from that file. The prompt names camera only. It does not name a resident, a ward, or a “trusted physician.”

Text-to-video will invent a person to wear the coat because “lab coat” in a paragraph is a costume. The model has seen thousands of clinician scenes. It will give you a face, a stethoscope, and a cousin fabric. That cousin is a failed mill shot. It is also the start of a health-presenter problem you did not brief.

Do not generate patients or a fake clinician. The mill does not own those likenesses, and the policy problem is larger than a bad pocket.

Synthetic presenters on health and finance are a YPP kill. YouTube’s third inauthentic-content bucket is an AI-generated persona presenting as a human expert on health. A constructed doctor in your coat, explaining when to wear it, how to sterilize it, or what a “good” barrier looks like, is that bucket. Labelling the face AI does not leave it.

The coat on a hanger is not a persona. A silent fabric turn is not advice. The kill is persona plus prescription: a synthetic face styled as the person who knows the clinic.

Do not glue a talking health line onto the garment file inside one generate. If a named, credentialed human must speak — a real medical director, on payroll, on camera — that is a different day and a different file. Generation can still do the hanger. It cannot be the clinician.

Dentists are the nearby practice page: office tours, myth-busting, comfort. That is a clinic talking to a patient. A lab-coat OEM is not a clinic. Do not borrow the dentist talking-head pattern and put it in your mill coat. You will have invented a doctor you do not employ.

Can I put a generated nurse in the coat if I add “not medical advice” on screen?
