Rice cookers: overlay the cook mode; do not Veo the panel icons

Inner-pot still is Seedance I2V; cook-mode legends are burned type — do not restage Instant Pot steam or invent panel icons.

Inner-pot still is I2V. Button legends are burned type. Do not restage the Instant Pot steam split.

A rice-cooker listing is a bowl: inner pot, lid lock, the colourway you actually ship. Cook mode is a string you already printed on the carton — White, Brown, Porridge, Keep Warm. Asking one cinematic generate to be simmer and a readable panel is how you get a cousin cooker with melted icons. Photograph the pot. Animate the pot. Stamp the mode after picture lock.

The inner pot is the still

The buyer is matching a SKU: nonstick colour, handle, the lid they will lift. Text-to-video of “a premium rice cooker steaming on a marble island” invents a kitchen and a second bowl. The distributor who stocks this insert will see the miss.

Photograph the cooker you sell. Lid closed or inner pot out — pick the catalog cut and stay there. Image-to-video starts from that file. Frame one is the still. Prompt camera and physics only: a slow push on the pot, lid hold, steam if steam is already in the crop as vapour, not as a new valve. Re-describing “fuzzy logic six-cup” in the prompt is how the model starts drawing a second body.

Do not generate a photoreal kitchen around a unit you did not photograph in that kitchen. If the still is a sweep, keep the sweep. Residential set dressing is a second, approved still — or it is not in the ad.

Cooking schools sell a technique and a room laughing over a class. That page is an evening. This page is a cooker SKU. Do not twin a knife-skill reel as a rice-cooker catalog.

Seedance holds the pot; it does not letter the panel

Seedance 2.5 is the still-to-motion family: four to thirty seconds, native audio, 720p, 47 credits listed. I2V is the still-to-motion job on that family; the published URL is this slug. A brand reel needs the approved cooker, moving — not a mood of dinner.

Thirty seconds in one pass is how a lid badge does not drift across a stitch of short text-to-video clips. Need a six-second PDP loop? Generate six seconds. Iterate shorter than thirty until the insert holds. Identity drift likes the long end.

Native audio is on. Write the mix (a quiet counter, no speech) or you will get a soundtrack you did not choose. Do not write a host line into the motion prompt. Overlay the cook mode after lock. Generated glyphs on the fascia are a misspelled mode you cannot edit.

A last frame is optional: lid closed then inner pot out, same unit. Do not last-frame a rice cooker into a pressure cooker. Two appliances is a morph.

Do not ask Veo to “show the panel icons clearly.” It will invent motion and invent legends. Pause any such clip: the buttons are the model’s, not yours.

Overlay the cook mode you actually ship

Cook mode is type. Add a text overlay to a video burns one authored line for the whole clip: top, center, or bottom. You write “Brown rice · 45 min” or “Keep Warm.” It does not transcribe. A mute pot has nothing to listen to. Font size, color, and an optional background block are controllable. Position is a three-way enum, not a free pixel.

One persistent mode for the whole file is this job. If the clip has to step White, then Steam, then Keep Warm on a clock you can name, that is timed overlays on the same locked plate — still your strings, still not panel icons the model painted.

Print after picture lock. Overlay before you reframe to 9:16 and you will pay twice. Modes change. If copy or picture is open, do not burn.

Do not bake the mode into the Seedance prompt so a SKU refresh forces a new take. The fascia in the still is the fascia you sell. Type sits on top.

Instant Pot steam is a different appliance

Pressure-cooker ads sell a different physics: steam at the valve, a sealed lid, panel type stamped after. That steam split is not this inner pot. Restaging a rice cooker as a hissing vent is a cousin SKU and a safety claim you did not photograph. Keep the rice cooker a rice cooker.

Appliance repair shops win the repair-or-replace argument: teardown, a failed part, a machine running again. That page is a technician on a job. A rice-cooker OEM is not a diagnostic walkthrough. Do not rewrite the repair feed as a brand film, and do not generate a fake tech pointing at a melted panel.

A constructed host walking “what you should cook” is a mouth you do not need. Hold the pot. Overlay the mode. If a human must speak, that human is on payroll and on a different take.

The test: is the object the photographed insert, and is the mode a string you can edit without a new generate? Yes — Seedance on the still, overlay on the file. No — you restaged someone else’s steam.

    FAQ

Can Veo letter the panel if I list every button in the prompt?

It will try, and the legends will crawl. Lock the cooker on Seedance 2.5 from the inner-pot still. Burn the cook mode as overlay. Do not buy cinema to typeset “Keep Warm.”

Why not restage the Instant Pot steam shot on our rice cooker?

Because steam-at-the-valve is a pressure-cooker claim. This SKU is an inner pot. Copying that split invents a vent and a lid you do not ship. Animate the bowl you photographed.

Is overlay the same as auto-captions on a cooking VO?

No. Overlay burns a line you wrote. Auto-captions transcribe speech. A mute cooker has nothing to transcribe. If you later record a real cook, caption that file separately.

Should we use the appliance-repair /for page as the brief?

No. That page is teardown and repair-versus-replace. This page is OEM: inner-pot still, Seedance motion, authored cook mode. Link the repair page when you are the shop. Do not copy its diagnostic templates onto a line sheet.
