Robot vacs: floor motion after the unit still is locked

Still then motion. Omni will invent rooms.

Still then motion. Omni will invent rooms. A robot vac ad that has to match the box starts as a signed photo of that unit. Floor motion is image-to-video off that still. A multimodal Omni pass is a new house. Mixing them ships a vac that is almost yours in a kitchen you do not sell.

Lock the unit. Then spend seconds on the floor. Do not prompt a home.

The unit still is the SKU

Colourway, turret, bumper, logo, dustbin latch — that is the product. "Sleek robot vacuum in a sunlit open plan" is a casting call. It will not match the PDP.

Approve the unit as a pack shot. If the still would not print on the box, do not buy motion. Lock the still before you spend on motion is the routing rule. This post is the floor version: identity first, traversal second.

Text-to-video invents the unit and drives it. When the bumper comes back wrong, you paid the motion rate to fail at identity. Same prompt, new noise, new vac.

Floor motion is I2V off that still

AI image-to-video treats the upload as frame one. The prompt names only movement: a push across hardwood, a turn at a chair leg. Leave the model number out of the paragraph. It is already in the pixels.

Two catalog I2V rows cover most of this slate. Neither has a standalone /models page; both are selectable jobs.

Seedance 2.5 image-to-video turns a still into a native clip up to 30 seconds at up to 720p, optional last frame, first/last frame, long form, audio sync. Requires an image. That is a continuous floor pass, not five stitched guesses.

Kling 3 Turbo image-to-video is the short silent take: 3–15 seconds, 720p or 1080p, 12 credits per second before discount (10 after). No native audio. Requires an image. Use it for a five-second hold you will score later.

Same contract: this photo is frame one. Do not "fix" a bad I2V take by throwing the last frame at a reference model.

    Omni restages the house

Gemini Omni Video takes a prompt plus optional reference images, clips, character IDs, and audio IDs. 720p / 1080p / 4K, 4–10 seconds, 16:9 or 9:16. Quota: images + videos×2 + character_ids ≤ 7. References are a casting call. The scene is new.

Ask Omni for "the vac cleaning a real family kitchen" and you will get a kitchen. Not your kitchen, and often not your vac. Omni will invent rooms. Feature when you need a new set. Bug when the PDP unit has to survive.

The split is image-to-video vs reference: I2V is this unit, this floor. R2V / Omni is this kind of unit, new room. Hero pack shot is I2V. Lifestyle cutaway can be Omni. Label the files so the lifestyle take never lands on the product page.

    Write motion, not architecture

The prompt should read like a camera move. "Slow dolly left, unit turns at the chair" is a motion line. "Scandinavian loft with terrazzo" is a new generate wearing your product as a suggestion.

If the floor in the still is not the floor you sell, take another still. Do not ask I2V to retile the room. Retiling is restaging, and restaging is how the unit drifts.

A regen of I2V on a locked unit is a new take of the same SKU. A regen of an Omni paragraph is a new house.

    FAQ

Can I use a last frame to make the vac arrive at the charger?

Yes, on rows that accept a last frame — Seedance 2.5 I2V is one. Both stills have to be signed. The charger in frame two is a second product still, not a sentence in the prompt.

Why is Kling 3 Turbo I2V silent?

The catalog row has no native audio. Score it later, or pick a row that lists audio if the pass needs motor noise in-model. Silence is not a defect on a product turn. It is a routing fact.

Is a phone video of a real floor better than I2V?

If you have the real unit on the real floor, shoot it. I2V is for when the still is the thing you have — a pack shot, a hero angle, a colourway that does not exist in the studio this week. Do not I2V a still to avoid walking into the next room.

    Should lifestyle always be Omni?

Lifestyle is a new room. Omni and other reference rows are built for new rooms. Keep them off the SKU plate. The product page still wants the locked unit. The lifestyle cut is a second file, labelled as such.
