Soap SKU: label words vs pour ASMR

Ideogram the label. Vidu the pour. Two jobs.

A soap SKU that ships is a readable lockup — scent name, net weight — and a pour that sounds like liquid hitting a mould. Lettering is a still job. The glug is a motion-plus-mix job. Asking a video model to typeset "lavender + oatmeal, 5 oz" while it invents a pour is how you get a misspelled wrap with a great hiss, or a perfect wrap that never makes a sound.

The label is lettering

Most photoreal models give you a bar-shaped texture with a word-shaped smear. That is not a label. Ideogram V4 is built around accurate text rendering for poster-and-label work. Case, alignment, how many lines. "Cedarwood 5 oz" is the brief, not "a rustic soap label with some lettering."

If the wrap is already on the bar in a photo you took, keep the photograph. Ideogram is for the graphic you do not have yet — a scent card, an end card, a net-weight stamp that has to read at thumbnail size. Overlay legal lines in the editor. Do not ask a poster engine for a full INCI block and a "for external use only" paragraph in one prompt.

Legible text in AI images is the still-side map. A video model is a bad typesetter. Six credits is a flat call. It is not a reason to skip the 100% proof. Once a wrong character is in the reference set, every subsequent pour reproduces it.

The pour is a soundtrack

ASMR here is diegetic: liquid, mould, a quiet bench. It is not a narrator describing lye. Start from the still you would print — wrap locked, or a clean unwrapped bar if the label is a later overlay. Image-to-video keeps that frame as opening picture.

Vidu Q3 generates the mix with the picture. Name two or three sounds: pour into the cavity, a soft scrape, room tone. State "no speech, no music" for clean foley. Leave audio unspecified and Q3 invents a band you may not want.

Durations are only 5, 10, and 15 seconds. A pour-and-hold is often a five-second idea. Do not pad to 15s because the slider has two more stops. Crop 9:16 or 16:9 on the still; this slug has no aspect-ratio list. If the still's label is already wrong, every second of pour is waste.

Two generates, one SKU

• The file is the lockup. Ideogram V4. Read every character against the brief. Do not animate yet.
• The file is the glug. Lock the approved still. Vidu Q3 I2V at 5s. Write the pour. Do not re-describe the ingredients in the motion prompt.
• You need both on screen. Still first, pour second. If the legal line will change before the formula does, keep the wrap clean and overlay the claim after picture lock.

Do not average the two jobs. Lock the still before you spend on motion. Pause the jpeg. Read the scent name and the weight. Fail a shelf audit: throw the still away. Do not prompt Vidu to "correct the wrap."

FAQ

Can Vidu Q3 typeset the label if I write the INCI in the prompt?

Do not. Prompted type in a video generate is a miss you cannot edit. Generate the lockup as a still on Ideogram V4, or keep a photograph. Animate the pour on that still.

Do I still need Ideogram if the wrap is already in the photo?

No. Keep the photo. Ideogram is for type that is not in the file yet. Animate the real bar with image-to-video.

Should I run 15s so the ASMR feels longer?

Only if the pour lasts 15 seconds. A three-second glug does not get better at 15s. It gets padded, with a soundtrack attached.

Where do the "for external use" lines go if they will not fit on the wrap?

Off the generate. Burn or overlay them after the take. A scent name is a short string Ideogram can hold. A full warning block is an editor job.
