TikTok Shop forbids the unoriginal clip and the AI livestream VO
A Seedance pack shot can still fail Shop if the rest is recycled. Livestreams forbid AI voiceover.
A Seedance pack shot of your bottle is original. The stitch of someone else's unboxing you drop after it is not. Shop does not grade the pretty four seconds and ignore the rest. Unoriginal content is the file.
TikTok Shop's unoriginal-content rule is three columns, not one ban. Originality is whether you created the video. Product truth is whether the SKU matches the listing. LIVE audio is whether a person is actually talking. Collapsing those three into "TikTok banned AI" is how a keeper pack becomes a takedown.
Shop pays attribution, not views. Attribution needs a clip that stays in the ledger.
A keeper pack shot does not wash the cut
Reference-to-video is the right row for the pack. Photograph the real SKU — front, three-quarter, the label that has to stay readable — and a model in the product video generator holds that object while the camera moves. Seedance's reference-to-video family is built for that job: multiple stills in, the bottle out, the scene around it open. That clip is yours if the stills are yours.
It is not a licence to paste.
Shop university examples of unoriginal content are whole-file failures: a stitch with no new commentary; a screen recording of someone else's review; a duet that never promotes the product; a livestream switched to playback. Adding a Seedance orbit, a new hook, or your watermark on top of that source does not change the source. Generation does not launder provenance.
A comparison format can convert. It still has to be a comparison you created. If you cannot point at the files you started from and say they are yours or the seller's, do not post it to Shop — including the six seconds that look expensive.
The rest of the file is the rest of the file
Sellers fail this by assembling a hybrid: four seconds of honest pack, eight seconds of a creator they did not hire, a caption that says comparison. Shop's examples do not grade by beat. The pretty pack does not outvote the stolen middle.
Product truth is a separate column. The same Seedance take can be original and still fail if the model invents a feature, a size, a medical effect, or a celebrity holding the bottle. Zoom the label. If the listing cannot support the superlative, it does not go in the generate. An AIGC label is a realism disclosure. It does not authorise unoriginal content, and it does not make a fake demo true.
LIVE is not a Seedance surface
Recorded Shop video and LIVE do not share an audio policy. Shop livestreams forbid AI voiceover: no AI-generated audio, no pre-recorded narration, no radio standing in for a person. Verbal communication has to happen in real time — spoken or signed — by someone who can answer a comment. A cloned founder voice on a looping pack plate is the pattern the quality pages named.
So: generate the recorded comparison from your plates, disclose commercial content the platform's way, and keep the LIVE as a human who can hear "does this come in navy?" If you cannot staff that human, you do not have a Shop LIVE. You have a video. Post the video.
Do not "scale" a LIVE by pointing a generated VO at a Seedance loop. That is two rules stacked: a non-live mouth, and often a still-heavy frame covering the host. The avatar and the clone still belong on VOD. None of that grant reaches into a Shop livestream and makes the voice live.
FAQ
Does a Seedance pack shot count as original on Shop?
If you created it from your own or the seller's product stills, yes for the originality column. It does not make the rest of the file original, and it does not make a fake feature true.
Can I stitch a viral review if my pack shot is generated from my SKU?
No. Shop's unoriginal-content examples include stitches with no new commentary. Your pack shot is not commentary. Shoot or generate the whole comparison.
Are AI voiceovers banned in Shop videos or only in livestreams?
The quality pages name AI-generated audio as a LIVE prohibition. Pre-recorded shoppable video is a different surface, with originality and product-truth still in force. Do not run a cloned host in a LIVE and call it a video policy.
If I label the post AIGC, can I reuse another creator's demo?
No. An AIGC label is a realism disclosure. It does not authorise unoriginal content and it does not authorise a fabricated product demo.
