    A sensor ad is two objects. The housing is a still you already approved: connector, label, the colour of the plastic the buyer will recognise. The spec is a string you already wrote: range, IP rating, the number that would be a lie if a model redrew it. Motion is allowed around the housing. Invented glyphs on the side of the part are not a datasheet. They are a misspelled SKU you cannot edit.

    The housing is a still you already own

    A pack shot is not a paragraph. Seedance 2.5 Image to Video is the still-to-motion row: one approved still in, a continuous clip out, up to 720p, four to thirty seconds, native audio with the picture. You can add a second image to set the closing frame when the move has a destination — a three-quarter that must land on the pinout side.

    Image-to-video is the tool shape. Frame one is the file you sent. Labels, silkscreen, and the part number survive because they were in the photograph. Text-to-video will argue with you about what the housing looks like and then invent a cousin of the SKU. Seedance I2V is still the still-to-motion job is the router. Arena Elo moving next week does not change what a housing still is for.

    Prompt the camera, not the part. Slow orbit. A push to the connector. Leave the millimetres out of the prompt. Re-describing the spec is how the model treats the spec as optional and paints a new one.

    Thirty seconds in one pass is the production reason this family holds a SKU: stitching four short talking clips around a housing is how the label drifts. One pass from a locked frame is how it does not. 720p is the ceiling on this endpoint. A 2K plate headed for a grade is a different model. Identity is still the I2V choice.

    The spec is an overlay, not a generate

    Add a text overlay to a video burns one authored line — hook, headline, badge, CTA — onto a standalone file. Your words. Top, center, or bottom. Not a free pixel. It does not transcribe. It does not change over time. That is how "IP67" and "0–10 V" stay the strings legal signed, instead of whatever Veo thought a datasheet looked like.

    A text overlay burns one authored line; it does not listen is the agent twin. Lock the picture. Then print the line. Offers change. Ratings change. Copy lock can be later than picture lock. If either is open, do not burn.

    If you need several different lines at timestamps — range at 0s, output at 2s, SKU at 4s — that is timed overlays, not one persistent headline, and not a prompt that says "show the spec sheet on screen."

    Do not ask Seedance or Veo to typeset the PDF. Scene models do not typeset. They sometimes paint illegible glyphs. A generated "datasheet" in the plate is pixels you cannot correct without regenerating the housing. Generate a clean part. Type the real string on the locked take.

    Veo is the mouth, not the millimetres

    Veo is a talking and cinematic row: native audio, short clips, 4K when the plate needs it. Use it when an engineer has a line. Do not use it as a typesetter. A Veo take that "has the spec in the shot" is how you ship a 4–20 mA part with a 0–5 V hallucination burned into the barrel.

    Split the jobs. Housing still → Seedance I2V. Spec string → overlay. Line of copy on camera → a talking model, after the part is the part. One generate that tries to be all three is how the SKU morphs.

    FAQ

    Can I prompt Veo to "hold the spec sheet in frame"?

    You can. You should not ship it. The model will paint text, not typeset your PDF. Overlay the real string on a locked housing take. Do not generate the datasheet.

    One overlay or timed lines?

    One overlay is one string for the whole clip — a rating, a SKU, a CTA. Several specs that appear and disappear need timed overlays. Neither of those is a generate.

    Does Seedance 2.5 I2V need the housing photo?

    Yes. Requires image is the point of the row. No still means you are not in still-to-motion. A paragraph about "our industrial proximity sensor on graphite" is how you get a different part.

    Should I overlay before I crop to 9:16?

    No. Top, center, and bottom sit in a different safe zone after a reframe. Crop the keeper, then print the spec. Overlaying a 16:9 datasheet line onto a feed crop is how the rating lands in the chrome.
