Trend Analyzer from a link to a shot list
Paste a short-form post into Trend Analyzer. One credit returns a viral score, timestamped hook, cuts and payoff, on-screen text, and a shot list to remix.
Paste a short-form post link into Trend Analyzer. Spend 1 credit. Read the viral score, the timestamped hook, cuts and payoff, the on-screen text, and the shot list. Then build your version from that list. Do not import the original. The analysis is a reading of someone else's public post, not a copy of their file and not a prediction that your cut will match their numbers.
Two paste doors, one chat door. The homepage on versely.studio has a Viral post box; the button is Analyze. Signed in, the screen is Trend Analyzer. In chat, the named job is analyze a viral video or post. A homepage paste rides through sign-in so the analysis is already running when you land. You need an account. A free account is enough to start; the analysis still costs 1 credit.
Paste on the homepage or in the app
On versely.studio, leave the pill on Viral post. That is the default. The other pill, Your brand or product, reads a site, listing or profile into a brand kit. Do not paste a TikTok into brand mode, and do not paste your website into Viral post.
The box placeholder is "Paste a TikTok, Reel or Short link…". Paste the full https:// URL. When the link is from a supported platform, a badge appears on the right of the box (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook or LinkedIn) and the helper notes the post was detected, at 1 credit per analysis. Click Analyze. If you are not signed in, you will be. The URL is kept on the way through, so Trend Analyzer is already working when the web app loads.
Already signed in? Skip the homepage. Open Trend Analyzer and paste there. Same 1-credit job. The Android app is the same account on your phone; the teardown and the remix belong on the web, where the editor and the workflow canvas live.
The chat path is the same analysis with a sentence instead of a form. Share the URL. Ask for the breakdown. One URL, one credit, one reading. Do not run the same link twice in one session.
Six platforms, three minutes, one URL
The analyzer accepts a short-form post, up to 3 minutes, from TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, Facebook and LinkedIn. That is the whole list. A 12-minute YouTube video, a podcast, a private file, a Versely generation URL, and a homepage that is not a post will not give you a useful analysis. Paste the post, not the profile. Paste a Reel, not the grid. If the helper says the link does not look like a supported post, fix the URL before you click Analyze.
One URL per run. Pick the save whose structure you want — hook length, cut rhythm, where the payoff lands — and analyze that. Five breakdowns of the same open will not teach a sixth. Each pass is still 1 credit.
YouTube is allowed here as a Short you want read. That is not an import. In the editor Media tab, YouTube links usually cannot be imported because there is no downloadable file, and the editor says so. Analysis does not need the file. It needs a public post Versely can watch.
If you do not have a URL yet, stop. Trend Analyzer is not a search box. The lookup job is separate, below.
What 1 credit actually returns
The charge is 1 credit per analysis. Read the four objects that come back. They are the whole product.
Viral score. A reading of this public post. It is not a publish gate for a cut on your timeline, and it is not a forecast for the remix you have not made. A high score is not permission to clone the pixels.
Timestamped hook, cuts and payoff. When the open lands. Where the picture changes. Where the video pays off the open. Write those clocks down. A 0.8s text lockup, a 3s product-in-hand, a 4s result, a talking close is a recipe. Their kitchen is not.
On-screen text. Every burned line the analyzer can see. Treat it as a transcript of their type, not copy you reuse. If the hook is a question, write a new question in your voice. If it is a claim you cannot make, drop the claim. The brand kit is where your fonts and colours live so the new lines do not come out looking like theirs.
Shot list. Beats you can remix: what is on camera, for how long, in what order. It is a brief. It is not a project file, not a workflow clone, and not an import. Recreating the jobs of those shots — establish, prove, pay off — is the point. Recreating their face, their pack, or their exact wording is how you ship a copy.
Nothing in that return is a rendered video. If you wanted a file, you opened the wrong door.
A lookup, an import, and this
Three neighbour tools sit next to Trend Analyzer. Mixing them is the usual first-day miss.
| Job | You give it | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Trend Analyzer | One public post URL, ≤ 3 min | Score, timestamps, on-screen text, shot list |
| Find what's trending | A platform plus a keyword or hashtag | A list of posts with stats |
| Import in the editor | A TikTok, Instagram or X link | Their file in your library |
Find what's trending on social is a lookup. Platform plus query. A list. It does not score a URL, does not emit a shot list, and does not render a follow-up. Use it when you do not have a link yet. Search the niche you post in, note the structures that repeat, then run Trend Analyzer on one or two URLs that represent the pattern. Do not analyze every row. That is how a 1-credit tool becomes a shopping spree.
Import lives in the editor, Media tab. Paste a TikTok, Instagram or X post link, read the free preview card, then Import for 1 credit (refunded if the import fails). That copies the file into your library. That is the opposite of a remix. YouTube usually cannot be imported. Trend Analyzer never puts their frames on your timeline.
Recreate a viral template clones a public Versely workflow graph into your account. A TikTok in the analyzer is not that graph. Do not ask Recreate to ingest a social URL. Do not ask Trend Analyzer to save a workflow.
Remix the shot list, do not copy the post
Read the shot list as duration and job, then throw the original away. A worked example, with their specifics stripped:
- 0.0–0.8s: large on-screen question.
- 0.8–4.0s: product in a hand, tight.
- 4.0–8.0s: the result of using it.
- 8.0–12.0s: talking payoff, captioned.
Keep the clocks. Replace every noun. Your product, your hand or a generated stand-in, your result, your line. Rewrite the on-screen question so it is a sentence you would actually run. Six different first seconds against the same offer is a hook pack from your brief, charged once for the set — not six analyses of other people's opens.
Two build paths. Pick one per remix.
Workflow canvas. Open workflows. Describe the remix in a sentence named after your shots, not theirs: "a still of our bottle on a cutting board, then animate it into a 9:16 pour, then a voiceover of the claim." The canvas lays scenes as columns. Each scene can hold nodes such as Image → Video → Voiceover. Edit any node's prompt. Rerun just that node. A connected Image node needs an image before its Video node runs. When the recipe is right, save and reuse the workflow so next week's episode is a run, not a blank prompt. Run now is how the agent produces the next one.
Video editor. Open the video editor. On a wide screen the editor agent is already beside the timeline. For each beat, generate a new clip from a prompt, or start from a photo you own. Generate a video from text is the empty-frame job. Do not open the Media tab and Import the analyzed link. Assemble your clips. Then use the named automations on this cut:
- Auto-edit for TikTok — vertical 9:16, a hook title over the open, dead air cut.
- Caption the whole cut — burned-in subtitles across every clip; costs credits; waits for your OK. Same job: caption the whole cut in the agent.
- Score it with music — a generated bed, ducked for voice; costs credits; waits for your OK.
- Balance the audio — voice up front, music under it.
- What's on my timeline? — a plain-words rundown. Read it against the shot list clocks.
Free edits (trim, split, reorder, a title you type) land instantly. Anything that spends credits is shown as a plan first. Type the rest in plain words: a text overlay for your rewritten hook, a speed change on a result shot, a crop. The overlay burns a line you wrote. It does not listen to the tape. Use it for the question at 0.0s. Use captions for speech.
Do not paste their on-screen text onto your frames and call it a remix. Do not generate "the same girl in the same kitchen." Do not run the analyzer on your unpublished export to "see if it will score." This tool will not answer that. When the cut matches the clocks and the nouns are yours, stop. The analyzer's job ended at the shot list.
Three moves on day one
- On versely.studio, stay on Viral post, paste one short-form link (TikTok, Reel, Short, X, Facebook or LinkedIn, under 3 minutes), wait for the platform badge, click Analyze. Sign in if asked. Or paste the same URL on Trend Analyzer.
- Spend the 1 credit. Copy the timestamps, the on-screen text, and the shot list into a note. Rewrite every line in your voice. Keep the clocks.
- Open the workflow canvas or the video editor. Generate your own beats from that note. Do not Import the original. Save the workflow if you will run the format again.
