A hard-hat listing is a shell you already tooled: brim, vents, the Hi-Viz chip. Colorways are stills. Class is type you typed. A talking officer is not the SKU.

The shell is the listing, not a site talk

Distributors compare the still to the carton. Yellow versus orange is a warehouse fact. Type I versus Type II is a claim on the spec sheet. Mixing those into one generate is how a colorway becomes a cousin hat with invented lettering on the brim.

Photograph the approved unit the way you would print a line card: square-on, brim true, logo lockup readable, no invented class stamp. That file is the identity. Text-to-video of "an industrial hard hat on a construction site at golden hour" rebuilds the brim and parks a face under it. You sell this shell.

Nearby pages are the wrong playbook. AI video for contractors is process on a job that exists — demo day, a problem behind the wall, a walkthrough. Manufacturers is the factory floor as a procurement asset. Neither is a colorway catalog. A generated wearer is a likeness. A generated officer is a presenter. The hat needs neither.

Use image-to-image from the factory still when the job is a colorway pack: same brim, same vent, same slot geometry, a different approved chip. Prompt the colour, not a new hat. "Same shell, safety orange, no new brim, no new logo" is a colour job. "Premium industrial helmet, sleek vents, OSHA hero" is a different SKU.

Text-to-image a "better" hat and you get a plausible cousin. Plausible is a scrap part. If you do not have the still, shoot it. Seedream is not a photography department for a mould you already tooled.

Aspects include 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16. Qualities: SD, HD, 4K. Styles — Realistic, Artistic, Anime — are looks, not ratings. Artistic will not typeset Type II. Approve each colorway as a still. If the feed needs motion, image-to-video starts from that file. Prompt a slow orbit. Do not re-describe the hat. Do not add a chin.

ANSI class is overlay, never a prompt

Type I, Type II, Class C, Class E, Class G: those strings are claims. A 2 that becomes a 1 for six frames is a mis-ship. Do not ask Seedream to stamp them on the brim because the model is "good at text." Overlay type is editable when the SKU sheet changes.

Add a text overlay to a video burns one authored line for the whole clip — "Type I / Class E" — at top, center, or bottom. It does not transcribe. Position is a three-way enum, not a free pixel. If the spec has to change through the clip, that is timed overlays, not auto-captions. Auto-captions listen. Nothing said "Type II" unless a person said it.

Do not put the class string in the Seedream prompt so it "lives on the hat." Overlay after picture lock. Swap the string for the next SKU without regenerating the shell. Crop to the delivery aspect before you overlay.

The officer twin is a different job

A talking safety officer is a presenter. OEM catalog video is a shell. Do not generate a photoreal inspector reciting impact class. If a trade partner wants a toolbox talk, that talk is a real named person, or type on a locked plate. It is not a twin.

Order: factory still; Seedream only to hold colorways of that still; animate on image-to-video if the brief needs a hold; burn class as overlay. Reverse that order and you will regenerate a hat to fix a typo. Pause on the brim. If a face is explaining what you should wear on site, you left the listing.

Why not let Seedream write "Type I" on the brim?

Because type is a claim. Overlay text is editable without regenerating the shell. In-frame type is a new still every time the SKU sheet changes, and a wrong glyph is the frame a specifier locks onto.

Can I use the contractors /for page as the hard-hat brief?

No. Contractors is demo-to-walkthrough on a house that exists. Hard-hat OEM is a color-true shell still plus overlay class. Copying their talking-on-site instinct is how you get the officer twin.

Is Seedream 4.5 a video model?

When is a real person acceptable on a hard-hat clip?
