    A hopper listing is inlet, body, outlet, the angle of the cone a buyer will match on a drawing. The proof clip is that vessel full, then that vessel empty. It is not a constructed operator walking a throughput number. Photograph both states. Interpolate. Do not prompt a cousin bin.

    Frame A is charged; frame B is discharged

    Photograph the vessel loaded — same catwalk height, same bay, same lighting family, product in the hopper that is this product, not a stock grain. That is the first frame. Photograph the same vessel empty after the dump, or after a controlled discharge you already ran. That is the last frame.

    First-last frame takes those two stills and generates the motion between them. Ordinary image-to-video knows where it begins and improvises the rest. First-last has to land. The dump is a destination: the empty shell. If you never attach that plate, there is nothing to land on.

    The two frames have to be connectable. Same vessel, same flange pattern, same ladder, same outlet. A close-up of a pile morphing into a wide of a different silo is a warp, not a dump. Keep the hopper. Keep the geometry.

    Do not use a last frame from a different SKU. The middle will invent a cone angle you do not sell. A loop (same still in both slots) is idle dust, not a dump. This offer needs two states.

    Two first-last rows; pick by duration and ceiling

    Create a first-and-last-frame transition video is the named agent job: two photos in, one transition out. The agent passes them as first and last frame and picks a first-last-capable model. Cost is priced per model, shown before you confirm. This is not the plain "turn one photo into a video" capability.

    VEO First Last Frame is Google's interpolate: first and last stills, native audio, 4K, durations 4s / 6s / 8s, 40 credits. Short cinematic travel. Write the mix (a discharge rumble) or write silence. A silent brief still gets a soundtrack you did not choose. Do not write an operator line into the prompt and expect a safe VO. You will get a mouth.

    Flux 3 First Last Frame to Video is the longer interpolate: 5 through 20 seconds, 720p or 1080p, native audio, listed rate 9 credits per second. Use it when the dump needs more than eight seconds of honest travel and 4K is not the point. Still two stills of the same vessel.

    Prompt the travel, not the bin. The stills already contain the charged shell and the empty shell. Name the mechanism: hold, then discharge; camera locked; no new catwalk. The hopper has to remain itself while the fill state changes.

    Inspect the midpoint. Ends are held by construction. If the middle grows a second inlet, a different outlet, or a pile that changes angle, reroll. Do not regenerate both stills "to match the motion." The stills are the drawing. The motion is the cheap middle.

    Throughput, live bottom, the cone that actually empties — those are the SKU. A model that is free to invent will restock the bay, steepen the cone, and sell a cousin efficiency curve. That clip cannot go on the listing.

    Keep the product large in frame. Flange bolt circles and outlet tags are the first thing a generator loses. If the part number must read, it has to fill the frame at both ends.

    A last frame that is a different fill of a different vessel is a morph. A/B two hopper SKUs as two interpolate pairs. Do not interpolate between them and hope the middle is a third model.

    The operator is not the vessel

    A talking operator explaining rate, bridging, or "what you should spec" is not the dump. If the line is a number a procurement team will use, it is overlay after lock, or a real named person on a different day. A constructed millwright is a presenter you did not hire.

    Native audio on both first-last rows will invent a mix if you do not write one. Write silence, or write the discharge and no speech. Quoted spec lines in the prompt do not become a data sheet. They become a mouth.

    Manufacturers can still film a real line with a real operator who consented. That is plant work. An OEM hopper dump is two states of the vessel. Do not glue a talking rate onto the interpolate inside one generate.

    Overlay capacity, outlet size, or the SKU string with a text overlay after picture lock. Do not ask Veo to typeset the drawing. Prompted type is a miss you cannot edit.

    The test: do I know the start picture and the end picture, and is the point to travel between them without inventing a new bin? Yes → first-last. Attach charged. Attach empty. Generate once.

    FAQ

    Can I animate one photo of the full hopper and hope it empties?

    You can. The ending is then the model's guess. The listing is the empty vessel. Pin the discharged still as the last frame or you are not selling the dump.

    Why not a talking operator on Veo 3.1 instead of first-last?

    Because the product is interpolation between two approved stills of the same hopper, not a mouth. Veo first-last is 4 / 6 / 8 seconds, 4K, native audio, 40 credits. A presenter row will talk over a bin it invented.

    Do the two photos have to be the same serial?

    They have to be the vessel you will sell. Same geometry, same bay, same lens family. A catalog render of model A into a site photo of model B is a morph, not a dump.

    Is a generated pile in the middle a problem if the ends match?

    Yes. Ends are held by construction. The middle is where the cone cheats. If the pile geometry would fail a drawing audit, reroll the interpolate. Do not ship a cousin hopper.
