Versely has no free tier for generation. Every model call costs credits, quoted before it runs. The cost hub maps those formulas — per second, per thousand characters, per megapixel, per job. Images to PDF is not on that map. The work happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
One image, one page, native pixels
People drop a folder of stills into an image model and ask for "a clean PDF of these comps." That is a generate. It will restyle the comps and typeset filenames as texture. You will then screenshot the miss and call it a document.
The free tool is the other object:
- Combines PNG and JPEG into one PDF.
- Each image becomes one page sized to that image — nothing scaled, cropped, or letterboxed.
- Select files in the order you want them; that order is the bind order.
- Output filename:
combined.pdf.
That is a bind of the files you already have. It is not a redesign. Mixed stills produce mixed page sizes on purpose, so neither image gets white bars. A designed one-pager with brand type is an image job you pay for after you decide a contact sheet is the wrong artefact.
Binding is not a layout model
The cost pages exist because billing is not "one price per generate." A lipsync is metered by the second. A voiceover is metered by characters. An image may be flat per call — Flux 2 Pro is 3, Flux 2 Max is 7, Seedream 5.0 Pro is 7. None of that arithmetic applies here.
The tool's own free FAQ is the product rule: actually free, no account, no limit, because it costs nothing to run. Routing stills through Seedream 5.0 Pro to "make them look like a PDF" spends a layout model on a job the browser already finished.
If the folder is a proof pack, bind it here. Then generate on the rows that are actually models.
Nothing is sent to a server. The file is read into memory, embedded, and offered back as a download. That is why it keeps working with the network off.
Native size is not a print spec
Reorder after the fact, in this tool. Sequence is selection order. Name the files 01, 02, 03 and select them together if sequence matters. To rearrange an existing PDF afterwards, use the PDF page organiser.
Force A4 or Letter. Pages stay native. A mixed set is a mixed-size document. Wrong tool if the brief was "print these on Letter with 12mm margins."
WebP, HEIC, or a generate of a page. PNG embeds as PNG. Everything else on this path is treated as JPEG. A model that "draws a PDF" is a new image, not these bytes. Images up to 40 MB; a 40 MP photo still needs ~160 MB once decoded, which is why the cap exists.
Do not "fix" mixed page sizes by generating an infographic of the folder. Bind the proofs. Generate only when you need a new still.

Does this file need a model?
If no — images to PDF, in the browser, zero credits. Same family as the other free tools: Canvas, File API, or arithmetic, on-device.
If yes — you are designing a board or animating a SKU. That is cost. Pay it on purpose.
A generate that outputs a rectangle full of your comps is not a PDF tool. It is a miss you will re-export.

Is images to PDF really zero credits on a paid plan too?
Yes. It never calls a model, so it never quotes a credit figure. Paid plans are for generation, editing, and the rest of the studio. This page is a local file convert.
Why are my pages different sizes?
Because each page is sized to its own image rather than forced to A4 or Letter. That keeps every image at its native proportions with no white bars. A mixed set produces a mixed-size document.
Can I reorder the pages in this tool?
The order comes from the order you select the files. Name them 01, 02, 03 and select them together if sequence matters. To rearrange an existing PDF afterwards, use the page organiser.
Can I send this PDF as proof of a generate?
No. It is a bind of whatever images you put in. It is not a render receipt. Cost and history for generates live with those jobs, not with a local print.
