A procurement engineer does not need steam over a press. They need the gate, the texture, the insert, the colour chip that will show up in the box. The still of the part is the SKU. Motion is allowed if it is that still, moving. A generated factory that “looks like our floor” is a different deliverable, and it will not survive a print-next-to-sample check.
Buyers spec the part, not the plant
RFQs travel as photos, CAD screenshots, and a handful of dimensions. The video that helps close the line holds those pixels steady while the camera moves: a slow turn, a light rake across a texture, a hold on the logo boss. That is image-to-video. Frame one is the file you already sent the buyer.
The plant film sells capacity, cleanliness, a brand. It does not sell cavity 3. Mixing the two is how a molder spends a cinematic generate on a clip the buyer cannot put in a packet. If you only have time for one file this week, animate the part still.
Hold the engineering still
AI image to video takes the still you already own and adds motion. The upload is the opening frame. Prompt the camera, not the polymer. “Slow orbit, raking light, part locked” is a brief. “Glossy consumer gadget on wet asphalt” is a different part.

Do not prompt Veo to invent the part. It will give you a handsome almost-housing with a gate in the wrong place. That file cannot go to the buyer. It can go on a homepage hero if you are honest that it is brand, not the SKU.
