Nut butter: the swirl is Vidu; the jar mark cannot drift
Diegetic stir vs identity of the lid logo. Two rows. Pick one generate.
Diegetic stir vs identity of the lid logo. Two rows. Pick one generate.
A nut-butter ad is two jobs pretending to be one clip. The swirl is physics: oil, ridge, the sound of a knife through a jar you already photographed. The lid mark is identity: the wordmark, the colourway, the foil that has to survive a pause. Vidu Q3 Image to Video will write a mix. Seedance 2.5 will hold a still. Asking either row to be both is how you get a cousin lid with a great stir, or a perfect logo with a score that is not a knife.
Stir is physics; lid is the SKU
A swirl still is liquid on product: ridges, oil bloom, the knife already in frame. The job from there is motion generation — stir, fold, a short hold. If the lid logo is a postage stamp in the corner of a jar close-up, no image-to-video row will make it a product shot.
A lid still is the SKU: wordmark, colourway, the foil you actually print. Camera around that lockup. Oil is optional atmosphere. If the swirl smears the mark, you asked the identity row to crush the logo.
Crop the swirl as a swirl. Crop the lid so the mark fills the frame. Do not interpolate from a wet knife to a closed jar of a different SKU and call the middle "our butter."
Bakeries is a nearby audience and a different job. That page is crumb pull, cake reveal, a display case at opening. A bakery ships pastry. A nut-butter brand ships a jar. Do not copy the crumb playbook onto a lid still, and do not restage the bakery calendar as a CPG listing.
Vidu owns the swirl
Vidu Q3 Image to Video turns a static image into a clip. Image required. Audio on. Durations are only 5s, 10s, and 15s. Max output 1080p. Sixteen credits listed; the row is marked discounted. Features named: image-to-video, motion generation, high fidelity. No aspect-ratio list on this slug — crop to 9:16 or 16:9 before upload.
Native audio means a silent prompt still gets a soundtrack. Write the stir: knife through oil, jar settling, no music bed if the mechanism is the mix. A 5-second take is the shortest legal clip on this slug. If the swirl fails in five seconds you do not have a cheaper 3-second retry here. You have another 5, or you fix the still.
If the still's jar is already wrong, every second of stir is waste. Image-to-video is the tool shape. Frame one is the file you sent.
Seedance holds the lid
Seedance 2.5 is the still-to-motion family: four to thirty seconds, 720p on the I2V job, native audio, forty-seven credits listed, optional last frame. Image-to-video is the still-to-motion job on that family; the published URL is the family page. The job is identity: the mark, the lid colour, the foil the buyer will recognise on the shelf.
Use it when a drifted logo is a failed take. Thirty seconds in one pass is how you do not stitch three Vidu 5-second clips and watch the wordmark melt at the cut. The still is the contract is the router. This page is only the split.
720p is the Seedance ceiling. 1080p is the Vidu ceiling. That is not a reason to send the lid to Vidu "for resolution." Identity is the Seedance choice. Stir physics is the Vidu choice. Prompt camera and oil only. The stills already named the objects.
A last frame is useful when you have a second approved still of the same jar — lid on to lid off, front to three-quarter. Two photos of two flavour SKUs is a morph.
Do not prompt "our lid logo, exact wordmark" into a text-to-video row and hope. Make the still. Then decide whether this generate is for the stir or for the mark.
One generate, one job
Pick before you spend:
- The ad is the swirl. Lock a still you would print. Run Vidu Q3 at 5s. Write the knife into the prompt. Crop 9:16 or 16:9 on the still. Do not start at 15s because the row is discounted.
- The ad is the branded lid. Lock the logo still. Run Seedance I2V for the length you will actually ship. Add a last frame only if the shot must land on a second approved angle.
- You need both. Two generates. Hold the lid on Seedance. Get the stir on Vidu. Stitch. One model will not honestly own both constraints.
The AI product video generator is the wider product door when the jar has to sit in a new set and the lockup must not. Check the lid at 100%. I2V from the locked jar still. Reference-to-video when the set changes and the mark must not. Text-to-video for neither.
Pause both files. If the stream is the stir you photographed and the lid is the jar you sell, cut them. If the wordmark grew a second serif, you used one still for two jobs.
FAQ
Can Vidu Q3 hold my lid logo if the still is sharp?
It can try. The still is still the contract, and Q3's job on this site is 5 / 10 / 15s motion with native audio at up to 1080p. If the failure mode you cannot live with is a drifted wordmark over 15–30 seconds, you are on Seedance I2V.
Can Seedance invent the stir if I write it in the prompt?
It has native audio, so you should specify the mix. It is still the identity row. If the swirl is the product and the logo is already locked in print, Vidu's 5-second diegetic take is the cheaper honest test.
Why not one 15-second Vidu clip for everything?
Because 15 seconds is triple the shortest Q3 take, with a soundtrack attached, and discounted is not free. A cheap 15-second miss is still 15 seconds of a wrong lid. Prove the swirl at 5s. Prove the logo on the identity row.
Is this the same job as a bakery crumb pull?
No. Bakeries is pastry in a case. Nut butter is a jar SKU. Crumb playbooks do not protect a lid mark. Crop the swirl as a swirl and the lid as a lid, then pick one generate.
