A pawn ad that ships is the guitar, the ring, the tool chest on this counter, moving. The buyer is looking at the object they will pick up. They are not looking for a generated person who "pawned it this morning." That person is a private figure. Calling the replica a UGC style does not create a grant.
Image-to-video is the tool shape: the still is frame one, the prompt is motion, the crop of the still is the crop of the clip. Photograph the SKU. Approve the still. Then animate it. Do not prompt a talking customer into existence because the feed likes faces.
The SKU is already on the glass
Pawn inventory is a still you already own. Overhead fluorescent, velvet tray, tag in the corner. That jpeg is the listing. Text-to-video will invent a cousin of the watch: a different bezel, a different case, a serial that never existed. Image-to-video does not argue about what the subject looks like. A photoreal avatar "who sold us this guitar" is a replica of a private person, usually without a shoot and usually without a grant. A deepfake of a private person is not a style. TikTok's AI-generated content help forbids adult private figures used without permission. Minors are a hard stop. A labelled, obviously synthetic clip of an unnamed borrower, a reviewer, or a face pulled off a local post is already over that line. "We labelled it" is not permission. "It is an original character who happens to look like him" is not a defence if you used his headshot as the seed.
Do not generate customers. If you need a person on camera, film staff who signed a replica grant, or hire an actor and say they are an actor. A synthetic "I pawned this and got a fair price" is a fabricated testimonial on top of a likeness problem. A likeness release that covers generation is the clause list. Most pawn shops do not need that clause. They need to stop generating borrowers. The item on the counter does not have a face. Animate that.
Motion the camera, not the borrower
Once the still is locked, the generate is allowed to move light and camera around the object. It is not allowed to invent a hand that was not in the photograph, a crowd at the window, or a neighbour walking in. Hands and faces are likeness. The SKU is inventory. A three-second push on a ring does not get better because you bought thirty seconds of invention.
List the last ten clips you posted. If eight of them needed the item to stay the item, you already had the still. I2V it. If you reached for a talking customer because faces get comments, you were solving a consent problem with a generate.

Only if there is no living referent — no lookalike of a local, no staff Slack seed, no "style reference" of a reviewer. Pawn work still does not need that person. The SKU is the ad. Invented testimonials remain a reviews-rule problem even when the face is invented.
Does labelling the video AI-generated let me animate a borrower?
No. Labelling tells viewers the media is synthetic. It does not create a grant from the person depicted. Private-figure rules are permission, not labelling.
Why not text-to-video the guitar so I skip the photo?
