Phone or web, where each Versely job belongs

Same Versely account on phone and web. Capture, generate and post on Android; the editor, workflow canvas, queue and brand studio stay on web.

    Versely Team••8 min read

Versely is one product on two screens and one account. Capture a take, run a quick generation, talk to the agent in chat, and post or schedule to social media from the Android app wherever you are. Sit down at app.versely.studio for the long work: the video editor and its agent, the workflow canvas, full model controls in Imagine, the Auto Post queue calendar, and the brand studio. The library and the credit balance follow you. iOS is coming soon.

Recutting a six-clip talking-head on a phone, or generating a still at the desk when you should have been outside with the camera, is how a week disappears into the wrong screen.

What you do on the phone

The Android app is the same login as the web. Sign in and you already have the library, the credits, and any connected accounts.

Capture. Film the take. Pull stills from the camera roll. Upload them. They show up later as strips in the Image, Video and Audio tabs of the web editor.

Quick generations. Ask the agent in chat to generate an image from text, turn a photo into a clip, or write a voiceover. One prompt, one file. Do not fan a prompt across several models or attach six references here. That composer is Imagine, on the web.

The agent in chat. Generate, caption a locked talking-head, schedule a post, check the queue — in plain words. Chat is how the phone drives the studio without a timeline.

Posting from anywhere. A finished cut in the library can go out from the phone. Connect accounts once: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Threads, Reddit, Bluesky. After that, posting is a send, not a project.

Do not recut a multi-clip timeline, lay out a workflow, or plan a brand campaign from the pavement. Those screens want a desk.

What you do on the web

Sign in at app.versely.studio with the Android login. Create a free account if you do not have one. Open the screen that matches the job.

The video editor and its agent. Open the video editor. On a wide screen the Editor Agent sits beside the timeline. Leave it there. Drop a clip from the library, or go to the Media tab, paste a TikTok, Instagram or X post link, wait for the free preview card, and click Import (1 credit; refunded if the pull fails). YouTube links usually cannot be imported; the editor says so.

Type in plain words, or click the named automations:

    • Auto-edit for TikTok — vertical 9:16, a hook title over the open, dead air cut. Free.
    • Caption the whole cut — burned-in subtitles across every clip. Costs credits. Preview a style on the first few seconds. Basic presets bill 1×; Dynamic (Glass is the default) bill 2×. Speech on the tape, picture locked. Longer version: caption the whole cut in the agent.
    • Score it with music — a generated bed, ducked for voice. Costs credits. Waits for OK.
    • Balance the audio — voice up front, music under it. Free.
    • What's on my timeline? — a plain-words rundown. Free.

Free edits land instantly. Anything that spends credits is shown as a plan and waits for your OK. The agent covers six groups: Cut & arrange; Text & captions; Audio & music; Generate media; Canvas & brand; Finish & export. You can type any of that in plain words.

The workflow canvas. Open Workflows. Scenes as columns; nodes such as Image → Video → Voiceover. Edit a node's prompt and rerun just that node. A connected Image node needs an image before its Video node runs. Merging needs at least two videos. Every run has a run history. Run now produces the next episode. Describe a workflow in a sentence ("a neon city image, then animate it into a 9:16 video") and the agent drafts it. Saving stores a reusable recipe — build it once. Recurring series run on a schedule you set through the agent.

Imagine. Open Imagine. One composer, Image | Video toggle. Attach a reference and the run flips text-to-image → image-to-image or text-to-video → image-to-video. Run several models on one prompt. Up to six references. Drag a generation back in as a reference. Full model controls live here.

The queue calendar. Open Auto Post. The Queue tab is a week-grid with an accounts rail of avatars, dashed Autopilot placeholders from your posting times, and click-a-slot-to-compose. Reschedule or edit a caption without being charged again. The phone can send a post. The week lives on this grid.

The brand studio. Open Brand. Paste a website, Amazon listing, App Store or Play page, or a social profile. Versely reads it into a kit — voice, products, audience, colors, fonts — for free. The agent then plans a mixed campaign (UGC, AI video, slideshows, hook-led posts), priced in credits, and waits for your OK. UGC needs product shots; Amazon listings supply them. Read the kit before you approve; the brand kit as the style guide is that setup. Apply fonts and colors from the Brand Kit panel on the timeline.

    Same library, same credits

There is one library. An upload from the phone is a strip in the web editor. A generation from Imagine is a file the phone can post. A social import in Media sits next to both.

There is one credit balance. Every plan gets the same models and editor. Plans change volume, not capability: Weekly 240, Standard Monthly 774, Pro Monthly 1,600, Standard Annual 9,600, Pro Annual 19,200, rolling over while you stay subscribed. A free account is enough to start. The current buckets live on pricing.

A credit spent on the phone is gone on the web. Do not caption the same file on both screens. Pick a door.

Social import is 1 credit. Trend Analyzer is 1 credit per analysis at trend-analysis or the homepage paste box; it needs an account, and a homepage paste rides through sign-in so the analysis is already running when you land. A hook pack is six openings from one brief, 132 credits for the set. None of those numbers change because you switched screens.

    Job Where
Capture, chat generation, send a post Android app
Recut, Import, caption burn Video editor
Scenes as columns, Run now Workflow canvas
Several models, up to six references Imagine
Week-grid and Autopilot slots Auto Post Queue
Paste a URL, approve a campaign Brand

A week that moves between them

Monday, desk. Open Brand. Paste the site. Read the kit. Then open Auto Post, connect a social account if you have not, and look at the Queue tab — the rail of avatars should be the accounts you actually post to.

Tuesday, out. Shoot two talking-heads on the phone. Upload them. In chat, generate a product still and a 9:16 B-roll. Confirm the files landed. Do not recut yet.

Wednesday, desk. Open the video editor. Drop the better take on the timeline. Click Auto-edit for TikTok. Ask What's on my timeline? Lock picture. Preview a Basic caption preset on the first few seconds. Click Caption the whole cut, read the plan, OK it once. Export. Click a Thursday slot on the Queue tab and drop the file there.

Thursday, desk. Open Workflows. Describe a sentence the agent can draft: a product still, then animate it into a 9:16 video, then a voiceover. Check the Image node has an image before Video runs. Save the workflow so next week is a run, not a rebuild. If you want a clock, tell the agent the cadence and the auto-post accounts.

Friday and the weekend. On the phone, check Thursday's post and Friday's Autopilot slot. Edit a caption if it is wrong — that is not billed again. At the desk, paste one competing Reel into Trend Analyzer (1 credit) and keep the shot list for a remix with footage you own. Do not import someone else's file and republish it. Leave the queue alone unless you have a file ready. The phone never opened the timeline. The web never needed the camera.

Open both screens on the same login

    1. Install the Android app and sign in. If you do not have an account, create the free one on the web first, then use that login on the phone. iOS is coming soon; until then the phone is Android. Capture one file and confirm it appears in the library.
    2. On the web, open the video editor. Drop that file on the timeline. Run What's on my timeline?, then Auto-edit for TikTok.
    3. Open Auto Post, connect one account if you have not, and click a slot on the Queue tab.

Camera, a single generation, a send: phone. Timeline, canvas, Imagine, the queue calendar, the brand kit: web. Same account. Same credits. Two screens.
