Uplighting is not a DJ talking over a dance floor. The offer is a wash: the room is raw, then it is the color you sell. That is a bounded motion problem. You already own — or you can lock — both stills. Do not prompt a model to invent the ballroom.
Frame A is the raw room; frame B is the wash you sell
Photograph the empty hall where it sits — same lens height, same chandeliers, same exit signs, same table layout if the tables are already in. That is the first frame. Photograph the same geometry under the gel you actually install, or lock a still of that wash. That is the last frame.
First-last frame takes those two stills and generates the motion between them. Ordinary image-to-video knows where it begins and improvises the rest. First-last has to land. The arc of the shot is decided by you.
The two frames have to be plausibly connectable in the time available. Same location, same camera, same furniture family. A close-up of a pin spot morphing into a wide ballroom is a warp, not a wash. Keep the room.
Do not use a last frame from a different venue. The model will connect them. The connection is the artefact everyone notices: a wall that slides, a chandelier that changes count, a window that appears. Planners notice. The venue notices.
A loop (the same still in both slots) is ambient motion on one plate. This offer needs two states: raw, then gel.
Flux 3 interpolates the gel
Create a first-and-last-frame transition video is the named agent job: two photos in, one transition out. The agent passes them as first and last frame and picks a first-last-capable model. Cost is priced per model, shown before you confirm. This is not the plain "turn one photo into a video" capability.

Do not prompt a talking DJ into a mouth neither still had.
Prompt the travel, not the objects. The stills already contain the raw hall and the wash. Name the mechanism: hold, then the gel comes up; camera locked; no new chandelier. If the endpoints share geometry, the morph reads as a cue. If they do not, you get a mushy crossfade you could have made in an editor without a video bill.
Iterate at 5s. Twenty seconds of the same interpolate is a long miss unless the cue is genuinely slow. Aspects on the row include 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and wider. Pick the one the planner will watch. The prompt will not mint a different venue because you said "cinematic."
Recraft the colorway before you buy motion
If the last-frame still is the wrong gel — last year's amber, a competitor's magenta, a phone snap that crushed the walls — do not interpolate it. You will buy five to twenty seconds of the wrong wash.
Recraft 4.1 Text to Image is the still row for a colorway you do not yet have as a photo: 4 credits, text-to-image, style control. Use it to lock an end still when the geometry is right and the gel is wrong — or to preview a color the client asked for before you truck the fixtures. It is not a generate of a new ballroom. It is a still. Approve it the way you would approve a lighting plot.
If you already photographed the wash you sell, skip Recraft. A real last frame beats a generated one. Recraft is the cheap place to argue about hue. Flux is the expensive place to argue about motion.
Do not Recraft a different venue and call it frame B. Do not Recraft a talking planner into the corner. Do not treat Recraft as a substitute for walking the room with a camera. Identity of the hall lives in the photograph. Colorway can be iterated at image prices. Motion cannot.
When the end still is signed — photographed or Recrafted and approved — then buy Flux. If the still is wrong, every second of interpolation is waste.
Venues and planners are nearby, not this wash
Event venues convert with empty-to-styled: the bare room to a finished event, a real night with permission, golden hour on the facade. That page is the venue's transformation. Uplighting is one layer inside it — the wash you sell — not a reason to generate the whole wedding.
Corporate event planners win on recap films: headcount, registration flow, a client reaction. That is logistics proof. It is not a gel cue. Do not rewrite those audience pages. Borrow the nearby distinction and stop.

Can I animate one photo of the raw ballroom and hope the gel arrives?
You can. The ending is then the model's guess. Uplighting is the wash you sell. Pin that wash as the last frame or you are not selling the cue.
Why Recraft the colorway instead of prompting Flux to "make it amber"?
Because Flux interpolates two stills. If frame B is the wrong hue, the interpolate is the wrong hue at 9 credits per second. Recraft 4.1 is 4 credits for a still you can reject before you buy motion.
Do the two photos have to be shot on the same night?
They have to share geometry. Same hall, same lens family, same furniture neighbourhood. A noon still into a night still is a time-lapse you should prompt as one. A different ballroom is a morph.
Is this the same as uploading one image to image-to-video?
No. One image is open-ended motion. Two images is a bounded landing. The agent notes that this capability needs first frame and last frame. Missing the wash is a different job.
