Vehicle wrap proofs are identity holds on the car still

I2V. Do not T2V a different van. A wrap proof is a specific vehicle: this panel, this contour, this vinyl, this type. The printer already approved that still. The job from there is motion — light across the door, a slow orbit, rain on the film — not a new fleet.

Text-to-video will argue about what the van looks like. It will invent a cousin wrap on a cousin body. That is a different print job. Image-to-video will not, if you send the approved frame and describe only the motion.

The wrap still is identity, not a prompt

A wrap is a physical SKU. Viewers forgive a jawline. They do not forgive a door graphic that gained a serif, a phone number that lost a digit, or a box van that became a sprinter.

T2V will wrap a van you never printed

If you find yourself prompting “our branded transit van circling a lot, exact navy, phone number on the rear doors,” you do not have a T2V problem. You have a missing still. Photograph the wrapped vehicle, or lock a proof render, then animate it.

Arena text-to-video rewards a pretty eight seconds. It does not reward a phone number that is still spelled at second twenty-two. Seedance can lose a T2V week and still be the correct I2V pick.

Lock the still. Run Seedance 2.5 I2V at a length you would ship. Run the same brief as T2V. Pause both on the door type. The T2V clip may win a beauty contest. The I2V clip is the one that is still your print. Do not iterate the wrap design in video.

Upload the car once; reuse the key

Proofs that have to survive more than one scene need a reusable asset, not a fresh upload every generate.

Set up reusable characters and products is the named job. The agent opens an Asset Builder card for a character, product, prop, or location. For a full set — van, logo, location — it opens several cards in one go. Once saved, that asset is reusable by key across every scene. No re-uploading per scene. Uploading reference assets does not use generation credits.

The wrap still belongs in that kit: straight-on at reading distance, a three-quarter for volume, the rear doors if they carry copy. A reference model will faithfully preserve whatever is in that set, including mistakes. Proofread the still before it becomes anyone’s canonical key.

Motion after the graphics read

Freeze the take where the door type is most visible. Crop to the lockup at 100%. Compare word-for-word against the canonical still. A last frame is control, not a default — use it when you have two approved stills, not as “and then the van is on a cliff.” The wrap you printed is the product. The generate is allowed to move light around it. It is not allowed to print a second van.

FAQ

Why not describe the wrap in T2V and skip the photo?

Because T2V re-decides the vehicle every take. Type, contours, colourways and proportions are the expensive failure. The still is the cheap place to lock them.

Do I need a last frame as well as a first?

Only when the shot has a destination that must match a second approved still — a turn that lands on the rear doors. A single hero still with a camera move is the usual job.

Does uploading wrap references spend generation credits?

No. Uploading reference assets on the reusable-characters-and-products job does not use generation credits. The generate that uses those assets is the billed row.

Is 720p enough for a wrap proof loop?

For feed and most web proof clips, yes. For a 2K plate you intend to grade, pick a 2K generate and still start from a locked still if you can. Resolution is a delivery choice. Identity is the I2V choice.
