A cable-assembly still is a locked plate. It is not a paragraph about "industrial connector on brushed metal." Paragraphs invent connectors. Image-to-video does not reopen the art direction. Frame one is the file you sent.

Assemblers photograph the part they will ship, not a family resemblance. Attention risk is whether the clip stops a buyer. Identity risk is whether the connector is still the one on the BOM. Eight seconds of the wrong keying is a different SKU.

Hold identity for the whole pass

Prompt camera and physics only. Slow table-top orbit. Locked tripod. A mating motion the still already implies. Do not describe the pinout. Re-describing the housing is how the model treats the housing as optional.

Keep the connector large in frame. Fine markings and pin geometry are the first thing a generator loses. If the part number must read, it has to fill the frame at the start.

Thirty seconds in one pass is why this family holds a SKU: stitching four short text-to-video clips is how the keying drifts. 720p is the ceiling on this I2V endpoint. A 2K hero plate is a different model. Identity is still the I2V choice.

A last frame is optional, and only when it is a second approved still of the same part. A last frame from a different connector family is a morph. Do not call that the same listing.

Two different connectors is a morph

First-last as the product-turn model is for an object that must remain itself while it rotates. Two stills of the same connector, front and three-quarter, is a turn. Two competing housings is a morph. Cable ads cannot morph. The drawing will not.

A/B two part numbers as two I2V clips from two stills. Do not interpolate between them and hope the middle is a third SKU. The middle is where generators invent pins.

Lifestyle around the cable is a split file. I2V for the connector; a talking or scene model for a person, if you have one. Inspect every take at 100% on the marking and the key. Re-run rather than retouch.

Pause on the connector. Is it the still you would send to the shop? Yes → ship the motion. No → you prompted a scene, used text-to-video, or first-last'd two different parts. Fix the still. I2V will not rescue melted type.

FAQ

Can I text-to-video "our connector rotating on a bench" and skip the still?

You can. You will get a connector. It will not be the connector often enough to run as the listing. Seedance I2V exists because the still is the spec.

Do I need a last frame for a simple orbit?

No. One hero still plus a camera move is the usual job. A last frame is control when you must land on a second approved still of the same part.

Why not first-last between the CAD render and the photographed assembly?

Only if both plates are the same part, connectable in the duration, and you accept a warp if the crop is unrelated. A transparent CAD of the housing to a lifestyle photo of a different keying is not a turn. It is a morph. Prefer I2V from the photographed part once you have it.

Is 720p enough for a product ad?

For feed, yes. For a print proof or a 2K plate, you are on a different generate — still start from the locked still. Resolution is delivery. The SKU is the I2V choice.
