Why volume, not settings, decides an image budget
Flat billing is the simplest meter Versely runs and the only one where the output's dimensions are irrelevant. A 1:1 thumbnail and a 16:9 hero from the same flat-billed model cost exactly the same. So do a first attempt and a fourth attempt.
Which makes volume, not quality settings, the thing to plan around. A hundred-image catalogue shoot is a hundred calls if every prompt lands first time, and nobody's prompts land first time. The honest way to budget a batch is to pick a keep rate and divide.

Aspect ratio and resolution

Prompt length and reference images

What a per-call charge does not cover

Do edit models cost extra on top of a generation?+
