The Auto Post queue is a week-grid you fill
The Auto Post Queue tab is a week-grid calendar with an accounts rail and dashed Autopilot slots. Click a slot to compose; plan the week in 20 minutes.
Open Auto Post on the web app. Connect each social account once. Open the Queue tab. You get a week-grid calendar, an accounts rail of avatars, and dashed Autopilot placeholders sitting on your posting times. Click a slot to compose. Reschedule or edit a caption later without being charged again. Series you already set up through the agent land on that same grid on the clock you gave them.
That is the Queue tab. It is not a generation screen and not eleven native apps. The cuts you attach were made in the editor or a workflow. The calendar is where they wait. The Android app is the same account on your phone; use it to make and post from wherever you are. The week you can actually see lives here. iOS is coming soon.
Connect the eleven accounts once
The list is fixed. Connect each network you actually publish to:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- X
- Snapchat
- Threads
- Bluesky
Connect a social account is the named job if you would rather say it to the agent. Connecting is not a generation. It does not spend credits. You do not need all eleven today. One TikTok or Instagram account is enough to put a file on a slot.
Connect once per profile. A second connect on the same login does not give you a second queue. Two brands are two accounts on the rail, not one super-connect with a note in the caption.
Do this before Monday. The twenty-minute week assumes the rail already has faces on it. Discovering an expired token while you are placing files is how a scheduling session becomes an auth session.
Publishing is not a plan upgrade. Every plan gets the same models and editor. Plans change how many credits you hold and how many accounts you can connect (10 on Weekly and Standard, 100 on Pro, with unlimited posts on every paid plan), not whether the Queue tab exists.
Read the week-grid before you click
Open the Queue tab. Three things are on the screen. Read them before you compose anything.
A week-grid calendar. Days across, times down. This is the coming week, not every post you have ever sent.
An accounts rail. Avatars for the profiles you connected. Click an avatar to look at that account's week. Click another for the next one. The rail is the filter. It is not a second scheduler.
Dashed Autopilot placeholders. Empty outlines sitting on the times you already post. A filled cell is a post that will go out. A dash is a time with no file yet. Those dashes are the holes the twenty minutes is for.
If the grid has no dashes, you still have the week. Every cell is a manual click until posting times exist for that account. Autopilot dashes follow those times. A series uses them. A slot you click can sit on a dash or on any other cell.
Read the whole rail once. A week with six Autopilot dashes on TikTok and a dense LinkedIn Tuesday is a week, not a problem. Decide which dashes get a file and which stay empty on purpose. An empty dash you meant is not a miss. An empty dash you did not see is.
Manage my scheduled posts is the agent door onto the same queue: a list, a cancel. Use the tab when you are placing files. Use the agent when you want the rundown in chat. Do not do both to the same slot in the same sitting.
Click a slot to compose
Click a dashed Autopilot placeholder, or any empty cell. That opens compose on that time.
- Attach the file. Drop an export from the editor, a slideshow, a still. The library is the same library the rest of the account already uses.
- Write the caption for this account. The TikTok caption is not the LinkedIn caption.
- Confirm the face on the rail. The cell you clicked already picked a time. Check the account.
- Schedule it.
That click is post or schedule to social media as a calendar action. The agent job is the same publish, said in plain words: now, or at a time. Use one door. Clicking a slot and also asking the agent to schedule the same file is how you get two posts at 19:00.
Watch the file once at phone size before you attach it. Check a video before you publish it is that pass named: aspect, audio present, captions inside the frame, first frame not blank. The Queue tab will not watch it for you.
A slot is one post. The same cut on TikTok and Reels is two slots, two captions, two accounts. Cross-posting is still two publishes. If the cut is still moving — a caption burn, a trim, a hook title still to land — leave the dash empty. Those jobs belong in the editor.
Move a post without spending again
The credits for a scheduled post were spent making the file, not clicking the calendar. Drag the post to a different slot. Edit the caption. Neither action bills you again.
Do this when a series and a manual slot overlapped on the same hour. Do this when the caption has a date, a number, or a name that is now wrong. Do this when the LinkedIn version should sit at lunch and the TikTok version in the evening.
Do not regenerate the video to move it. Do not cancel and re-upload to fix a typo. Open the scheduled cell, change the time or the copy, save.
A caption edit on the Queue tab is the text under the post in the app. It is not a new caption burn on the file. Burned-in subtitles live in the MP4. If those words are wrong, recaption the source in the editor, then replace the attachment. Changing "link in bio" to "shop the drop" is a Queue edit. Changing a misspelled name on the burned captions is not.
Pulling a post off the grid is a cancel on the cell, or the same action through the agent list. Cancelling does not refund a generate that already ran. It stops the publish. If the post already went live, cancel is a delete, not an archive. Confirm before you pull a live row. Two posts at the same time on the same account is not a backup. List first, then move, then compose into a hole that is actually empty.
Series fill the dashes
A series is a recipe on a clock. You set it up once through the agent. Each run writes a new episode and, if you asked it to, posts to the accounts you connected. Those posts show up on the week-grid the same way a slot you clicked does. You do not re-click them every Monday.
Two named jobs cover the two shapes:
- Run a recurring video series — a saved video workflow, a fresh plot each run, auto-post optional.
- Schedule a recurring slideshow series — the slideshow version of the same idea.
You need a recipe before you need a clock. Build it once: save workflow is not the generate button is that split. Saving stores the scenes. The series run is what spends credits, quoted before it makes anything. The Queue tab does not generate the episode. It shows where the episode will sit.
Playbooks are the faster on-ramp when you do not already have a recipe. Open Playbooks. There are 12 launchable recipes that prefill the agent. The headline one is the story-time slideshow series: a question hook, then anecdotes, then a soft sell on slide 7. The agent runs it on a schedule with your Auto Post accounts. You can pause and resume. The credit and time figures on the cards are estimates, not a quote for your account. Read the plan when the agent shows one.
A series that posts on schedule will occupy Autopilot dashes on those days. That is the point. Leave those cells alone unless the caption is wrong or the time collides with a one-off. Do not also click the same dash and attach last week's file. You will ship two posts.
Pause the series from the agent when you are away or the offer is dead. Do not sit on the grid deleting next week's cells one by one while the clock is still on. The clock does not watch the grid. The grid shows what the clock already decided.
Run the twenty-minute pass
A solo creator does not need a content meeting. You need one pass over the grid before the week starts. Twenty minutes is enough if the files already exist. If you sit down with an empty library, this is an editor session and the dashes stay dashed.
| Minutes | On the Queue tab |
|---|---|
| 0–4 | Open Auto Post. Queue tab. Click each avatar on the rail. Count the empty Autopilot dashes. |
| 4–8 | Note which dashes a series will fill. Leave those. List the holes you still want filled. |
| 8–16 | Click each hole you are filling. Attach the file, write the caption, schedule. Skip a dash on purpose if that account already has enough posts. |
| 16–20 | Drag anything that bunched. Edit captions. Watch the next post to go out, on mute, on a phone. |
Keep a small stack of finished cuts ready before this pass. The twenty minutes is scheduling, not generating, not captioning, not connecting a new network. Those jobs have their own screens. Do them before this pass. Monday is the grid.
Three actions, in order, the first time you do this:
- Open Auto Post on the same account you use on Android. Connect one of the eleven networks if the rail is empty.
- Open the Queue tab. Read the week-grid and the dashed Autopilot placeholders. Click one slot, attach a file you already have, write a caption, schedule it.
- Drag that post to a different time and change one line of the caption. Confirm nothing extra was billed. Then, if you already have a format, ask the agent to run a series onto the same grid.
