Your first hour from import to a scheduled post
Sign in on Versely Web, paste a TikTok in Media, Import for 1 credit, Auto-edit for TikTok, preview captions, then queue the cut in Auto Post.
Sign in at Versely on the same account you use on Android, open the video editor, paste a TikTok link in the Media tab, click Import (1 credit), run Auto-edit for TikTok, preview a caption style, confirm Caption the whole cut, export, then drop the file on a slot in Auto Post. That is the first hour. Free edits land on the timeline immediately. Anything that spends credits is shown as a plan and waits for your OK.
Sign in and open the video editor
Create a free account if you do not have one. If you already make and post from the Android app, sign in with that login. It is one product on two screens, not a second studio. The app is for making and posting from anywhere; the web is where the long work happens. iOS is coming soon.
Open the video editor. On a wide screen the Editor Agent sits beside the timeline by default. Leave it there. The first hour is talking to that panel and tapping named automations, not hunting a ribbon.
The agent covers six groups of work: Cut & arrange (trim, split, reorder, speed, transitions); Text & captions (titles, caption presets, burned-in subtitles); Audio & music (voiceover, music beds, levels, effects); Generate media (new clips, images and sound from a prompt); Canvas & brand (aspect ratio, background, your brand kit); Finish & export (dub, upscale, clean up, render). You can type any of that in plain words.
Capability is not gated by plan. Every plan gets the same models and editor. Plans change how many credits you hold. Weekly is 240, Standard Monthly 774, Pro Monthly 1,600, Standard Annual 9,600, Pro Annual 19,200, rolling over while you stay subscribed.
A Brand Kit panel in the editor applies fonts and colours you already saved. Skip it if the kit is empty. Do not stop the hour to build one.
Paste the TikTok in Media, then Import
Click the Media tab. Paste a TikTok, Instagram, or X post link. A preview card appears. That card is free. Watch it. If it is the wrong post, paste a different link. Nothing has been billed.
YouTube links usually cannot be imported, because there is no downloadable file, and the editor says so clearly. Do not retry a YouTube URL hoping the third paste works. Pick a TikTok, Instagram, or X post, or use a file you already have.
When the card is the clip you want, click Import. That costs 1 credit. If the import fails, the credit is refunded. Import once. Three imports of the same post to compare encodings is three credits, and two of them are waste.
The file lands in your library and as a strip you can drop on the timeline. Uploads, generations, and music already in the account show the same way in the Image, Video, and Audio tabs. If you would rather skip social import and use a take from your phone, pull it from those strips instead.
Do not generate a new clip yet. Generate media spends credits and waits for OK. This hour is a post from a clip you already have, not a model bake-off.
Auto-edit for TikTok, then lock the cut
In the Editor Agent, click Auto-edit for TikTok. Or type: make this vertical 9:16, put a hook title over the open, cut the dead air. Either path is free. The canvas goes 9:16, a hook title sits on the first seconds, and silence comes out.
Watch the result. If Auto-edit kept a ramble you do not want, tell the agent to trim it. Split, reorder, speed, and transitions are Cut & arrange. They land instantly. You can also trim or cut a video in plain words: cut from 0:14 to 0:19, split at the laugh, speed the intro to 1.25.
What's on my timeline? is the free rundown when you imported a long original and are not sure what survived. Ask it, then keep cutting.
Lock picture before you caption. A bumper dropped after burn-in takes every cue with it. Trim first. Caption second.
If nobody is speaking, stop. Burned-in captions need audible speech. A silent product plate, a screen recording with no voice, or a clip that is only a music bed will give the transcriber nothing useful. Auto-edit's hook title is an authored line over the open; it is not a transcript. Leave a silent cut on the title, or add a voiceover later. Do not run Caption the whole cut to see what happens.
Balance the audio is free: voice up front, music under it. Score it with music is not free. It generates a bed, ducks it under voice, and waits for your OK because it spends credits. Skip Score it unless you actually want a generated bed. If you already have a track in the Audio tab, drop that instead.
Preview captions, then confirm the burn
Caption the whole cut is the named automation. It transcribes speech and burns styled subtitles across every clip. Transcribe and caption my video is the same job on the agent page. Use the automation sitting next to the timeline. Do not also open the agent page and caption the same file twice.
This step spends credits. The agent shows a plan and waits. Do not confirm until you have done three things.
Preview a named preset on the first few seconds of this cut. You are checking contrast on this background, this face, this motion. A studio sample of Glass on a different talker is not a preview.
Name the language as a code for the language actually spoken. The job handles 165 language codes. It transcribes what is spoken. A Spanish voiceover labelled en-US is a bad English transcript.
Name Basic or Dynamic. Basic presets bill 1×. Dynamic presets bill 2× for the same transcription. Glass is a Dynamic preset and the default. If you do not name a look, you get Glass, which is how a 2× hour happens without anyone choosing a look. Name a Basic preset when you want 1×. Name Glass when you actually want Glass.
Then read the plan. Confirm once. Output is an MP4 with captions burned in. There is no cue list to nudge later. A timing fix is a new render.
The longer version of this job is caption the whole cut in the agent. For the first hour you need the preview, the language code, the 1×/2× choice, and one OK.
A second turn that says make the captions bigger on a burned MP4 is a new full job. If a word is wrong, recaption the source.
Export onto the Auto Post queue
Watch the cut once, on mute, at phone size. Read the first cue, the names, the numbers, the hook title. Check a video before you publish it if you want that pass named. Dub, upscale, and clean up live under Finish & export. They spend credits and wait for your OK. Skip them unless the file is actually in the wrong language or too soft to post.
Export the MP4.
Open Auto Post. If no accounts are connected, connect them once: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Threads, Reddit, Bluesky. Connect a social account is the named job if you would rather say it in the agent. Connecting is not a generation. You do not need every network today. One TikTok or Instagram account finishes the hour.
Open the Queue tab. You get a week-grid calendar, an accounts rail of avatars, and dashed Autopilot placeholders from your posting times. Click a slot to compose. Attach the export, write the caption, pick the account, schedule it.
Post or schedule to social media is the same action through the agent. Reschedule or edit a caption later without being charged again. The credits you spent were Import and Caption the whole cut, not the calendar click. Credit numbers for the plans live on pricing.
What the hour actually bills:
| Step | Credits |
|---|---|
| Account, editor, paste, preview card | None |
| Import | 1; refunded if it fails |
| Auto-edit for TikTok and other timeline edits | None |
| Caption the whole cut | Yes; plan first. Basic 1×, Dynamic 2× |
| Score it with music, dub, upscale | Yes; plan first |
| Connect accounts, Queue slot, reschedule | None |
The rule to keep: if the agent can do it with the timeline (cut, title, levels, aspect ratio), it does it now. If it has to generate, transcribe, or fetch a social file, it shows a plan.
Run the hour in this order
- Sign in at app.versely.studio on the account you already use on Android, or create the free one. Open the video editor.
- Media tab → paste a TikTok link → read the free preview card → Import (1 credit). Run Auto-edit for TikTok. Preview a caption style on the first seconds, then confirm Caption the whole cut.
- Export. Open Auto Post, connect one account if you have not, click a slot on the Queue tab, drop the file on that slot.
Workflows, playbooks, and recurring series can wait. This hour is one imported cut on one slot.
