    A homepage explainer is almost always Category. A conference-talk clip is Mechanism. A sales deck opener is Outcome. When someone says "the explainer isn't landing," nine times out of ten the diagnosis is that it's sitting between Category and Mechanism and satisfying neither.

    Script it from a subject-matter expert interview, not from the website

    The worst B2B scripts are written by paraphrasing existing marketing copy, which was itself a paraphrase of a paraphrase. Four generations from the truth, everything is abstract nouns.
