    Kling O3 Pro I2V vs T2V

Both Kling O3 Pro rows are 70 credits, native audio, 3–15s. I2V is the still as contract. T2V invents the frame.

Both Kling O3 Pro video rows are 70 credits, native audio, 3–15 seconds. The pick is the contract: Kling O3 Pro Image to Video treats the still as the frame. Kling O3 Pro Text to Video invents the frame. Same sticker, same length menu, opposite input.

T2V: audio true, text-to-video, 3s through 15s every second, credits 70, resolution unset. Description: reasoning-enhanced generation, camera controls, and audio. No still required.

I2V: audio true, image-to-video, requires an image, 3s through 15s every second, credits 70, resolution unset. Description: reasoning-enhanced generation and camera controls. The JPEG is not optional.

Do not pick between them on “quality.” Pick on whether a still already owns the first frame.

The still is the only real difference that matters

Seventy credits is a hero bill. It is not a draft. Kling 3 Turbo is 12 credits, 3–15s, 1080p, audio false. If you are still deciding whether the shot exists, you are on Turbo, not on O3 Pro twice.

Once you are on O3 Pro, the fork is:

I2V when the first frame is approved. Pack, face, set, wardrobe. The generate is allowed to move the camera and the subject. It is not allowed to recast them. Requires_image is true. If you omit the still, the job should not start.

T2V when there is no approved frame. You want O3 Pro’s native-audio reasoning row to propose a picture. You will accept that the person and the pack are invented. If legal will later ask “why doesn’t this match the JPEG,” you picked wrong.

Both rows have native audio. Write the line, the room, or “no speech.” A 70-credit mute prompt still returns a soundtrack. That is not a reason to use T2V for a SKU; sound does not lock a label.

    Both rows share 3–15s. Neither is a 20-second Sora replacement. Neither is Veo’s 4K 8-second ticket (Veo 3.1 is 40 credits, 4 / 6 / 8s, 4K). Neither is Seedance 2.5’s 30-second 720p pass. If you need 16–20s, you are off O3 Pro.

Resolution is unset on both cards. Do not invent 4K here. The 4K Kling T2V slug is Kling Video V3 4K Text to Video at 210 credits, audio true, 3–15s, 4K. That comparison is a different page. O3 Pro vs O3 Pro is input, not resolution.

How to brief I2V without throwing the still away

Put the still in. Then prompt only what the camera and the subject do after frame one.

Legal: slow push, head turn, steam rises, jacket stays, pack stays in the same hand. Illegal: “a different model in a different kitchen, same energy.” The second prompt is T2V with a wasted JPEG.

If you have two frames that must both be true, O3 Pro I2V is not automatically first-last. Veo first-last (40 credits, 4 / 6 / 8s, 4K, native audio) and Flux 3 first-last (9 credits, 5–20s, native audio) are the two-frame interpolators. O3 Pro I2V is one required still into motion. Do not staple a last-frame wish to it and expect a second contract.

If you have a stack of refs, O3 Pro I2V is still one image-to-video card. Seedance 2.0 includes reference-to-video at 69 credits, 4–15s, 1080p. Wan 2.7 R2V is 18 credits, 2–10s, audio null. Multi-ref is those rows. O3 Pro I2V is one still.

Duration: match the action. A 15-second I2V of a still that only needed a 5-second eye-blink is 70 credits of drift risk. Start short. Lengthen when identity holds.

How to brief T2V without pretending a still exists

T2V is allowed to invent. Use that when invention is the job: a scene that was never photographed, a camera that cannot be there, a person who is not a legal double of a real still.

Write one shot. O3 Pro’s “reasoning-enhanced” description is not a licence to paste a six-beat board into one 12-second generate. If you needed a board, that is movie-mode or several I2V shots from several stills, not a denser T2V paragraph.

Do not attach a SKU JPEG in the chat and then run the T2V slug. The T2V card does not require the image. The model may glance at a picture you pasted in a UI and still invent. If the JPEG matters, change the slug to I2V.

Native audio on T2V is the same job as I2V: speech in the take if you write it. For Sora dialogue leftovers that are 3–15s and do not need Veo 4K, O3 Pro T2V is a talking option at 70 credits. That is expensive versus Flux 3 T2V at 9 credits or LTX Fast at 4. Pay 70 when you want this Kling row, not when you want any native audio.

Failures that look like “the other O3 Pro”

T2V used, review asks why the pack is wrong. You needed I2V or Seedance R2V. Generating again on T2V will invent a new wrong pack.

I2V used, the still was a miss. The contract was a bad plate. Edit or recapture the still. Do not switch to T2V to “get better lighting” if the product identity had to survive.

Both used “to see.” 140 credits to learn that the still was the brief. Run Turbo or a cheaper native-audio T2V for look-dev. Spend 70 once.

Audio ignored. Seventy credits of talking you will mute is a Turbo job you overpaid. If the file will be silent in the feed, you still need burned-in captions. Add captions to video.

Length borrowed from Sora 20s. O3 Pro cannot. Cut, or leave for Flux 3 / LTX Fast / Seedance 2.5 / Grok Imagine Video.

The AI video generator and AI image-to-video are the two doors. The slug has to match the door.

When you know whether a still owns the frame, run that O3 Pro row from Versely.

    FAQ

Are O3 Pro I2V and T2V priced differently?

No. Both publish 70 credits, native audio, 3–15s. I2V requires a still. T2V does not. Pay for the input contract, not for a mythical quality tier between them.

    Does O3 Pro I2V output 4K?

Resolution is unset on both O3 Pro cards. Do not invent 4K. If 4K T2V is the brief, see Kling Video V3 4K Text to Video at 210 credits, 4K, native audio, 3–15s.

Can I draft on O3 Pro T2V and lock on O3 Pro I2V?

You can, at 70 credits per generate. That is a poor draft loop. Draft silent on Kling 3 Turbo (12 credits) or cheap native audio on LTX Fast / Flux 3 T2V. Use O3 Pro I2V when the still is approved and the 70-credit talking motion is the job.
