Overview
An AI photo editor is neither a filter nor a generator. You hand it a photograph and an instruction ('remove the parked car', 'make the sky overcast', 'put the jacket in navy') and it hands back the same photograph with that one thing different.

Frequently asked questions
Will it change parts of the photo I didn't ask about?
It can. Instruction editors re-render the entire frame rather than patching a region, so small details can shift. Masking the area you mean, and comparing against the original before you export, is the practical guard.
Can it colourise or repair an old photograph?
Yes. That runs through the restoration and colourisation models in the roster rather than the instruction editors. Expect a plausible interpretation of colour, not a recovery of the original one.
Can it edit text that appears inside the image?
Some of these models handle typography far better than others, which is exactly why the shelf is worth having. Try the edit, read the result at full size, and switch models if letters go soft.
How is photo editing billed?
In credits; there is no free generation tier. Several of these models meter by megapixel, so editing a 4K image costs more than editing a 1K one; others charge a flat rate per image. Each model's page states which shape it uses.
Can I feed an edited photo straight into video?
Yes. That is the most common route through Versely: fix the still first, then animate it, because a flaw in frame one is in every frame that follows.
