6 apps for brand-kit consistent images

Canva, Firefly, Recraft, Versely, Figma, and Photoroom hold a kit. Pick by templates, custom model, styles, saved kit, variables, or listing fields.

The stills have to look like they came from one brand, not six moods. That is a kit job. Six apps will hold a kit. Canva is the template kit most teams already fill in. Adobe Firefly is the custom model and the commercially safer generate. Recraft is shared styles and marks. Versely is the saved kit (colours, fonts, logo, product stills, tone, frame) plus a model row that can obey it. Figma is variables and libraries, the source of truth. Photoroom is listing fields: background, shadow, export size. This page is that list. It is not a brand-guidelines PDF. It is not a promise that a hex in a prompt is a photograph of that hex.

A kit is the part of the still that is not allowed to be stochastic. Generation is a fresh sample every time. Anything that must be identical across runs has to be stored, referenced, or typeset, not hoped for. If you retype "navy #0B1F3A, Grotesk, logo bottom-left" into six chats, you do not have a kit. You have a habit. Habits fail on the day a teammate runs the job.

    What this list is for

The job is a campaign of stills that share colour, type, logo placement, product shape, and crop. Ads, organic, a landing set, a sales deck. Not one hero. Not a meme. Not a YouTube thumb that is allowed to look loud. If the only constraint is "make it pretty," you do not need a kit. You need a generate.

Kits bind hard in different places. Overlay type and a logo stamp are deterministic: that hex, that font file, that SVG. A generated scene is a hint. The model will compete with your navy using whatever light it liked. The reliable way to hold a real product is to supply photographs of the product as references, not adjectives about the product. Store the shots. Then generate the world around them.

Imagen 4 is shut down. Google's Gemini API page (updated 17 September 2026) says the family is gone. Do not treat a leftover Imagen card as the Google brand look. If you wanted Google stills, that is Nano Banana 2. If you wanted a photographed bottle, that is Flux 2 Max.

    The six apps

    1. Canva. Start here if the kit is colours, fonts, logos, and templates, and the team already publishes from Canva. Independent reads of Canva's 2026 AI table (The Rundown, 29 August 2026; Moda, 9 September 2026) put Pro at about $144 a year. Business is about $250 a year per person and advertises 100 Brand Kits plus approvals. That is the product: lock the palette, lock the type, lock the logo, let a junior drop a photo into the well. Image generation is Premium AI. High-quality image is Ultra AI, with a small monthly bucket (20 Ultra on Pro in those reads). Do not spend the brand kit's month on Ultra generates that ignore the kit. Typeset in the kit. Generate the photo on a row that takes a reference. Canva is a bad first app if the "kit" you needed was a trained look inside the pixels. It is the right app when the kit is a layout law.

    2. Adobe Firefly. Open Firefly when the generate itself has to be on-brand and commercially safer. Adobe's Firefly page (read 20 September 2026) lists Standard at $9.99 a month with 2,000 credits and Pro at $19.99 with 4,000, Express Premium, and Photoshop on web. Adobe's own models train on licensed Adobe Stock and public-domain work. Adobe does not train those models on your Creative Cloud files. Firefly Custom Models are the brand door: train on your assets so new stills match a look you own. Firefly Boards are the mood-board seat. Partner models in the same app (GPT Image, Nano Banana, Flux) are not Custom Models and not the same indemnity. Content Credentials travel with Adobe outputs. Firefly is a bad first app if you only needed to stamp a logo on a photo you already have. It is the right app when legal asked how the pixels were trained.

    3. Recraft. Open Recraft when the consistent thing is a mark, an illustration style, or a vector you will recolour. Recraft V4.1 shipped 14 May 2026. Paid plans (read 20 September 2026): Basic $12 a month ($10 yearly) for 1,000 credits, Pro from $20 ($16 yearly) for 2,000. Teams add shared custom styles, which is the kit in Recraft language. V4.1 docs split Expressive from Utility. Utility is the calm, front-facing pass. Vector SKUs return SVG. Recraft's unique claim since V4 (17 February 2026 launch post) is editable SVG with structured layers. A PNG that "looks vector" from a raster row is still a PNG. Recraft is a bad first app if the kit is a photographed bottle on marble. It is the right app when the kit is a glyph family.

    4. Versely. Versely sits here because the kit is stored on the account and the stills row still has to be picked. A brand kit on this product is saved colours, fonts, logo, product stills, tone, and frame shape. Overlay and caption styling obey the hex and the font. Inside a generated image those values are guidance. Supply product photographs as references if the SKU must hold. The generate door is text to image. Recraft 4.1 Text to Image is 3 credits, style control: marks and layout-quality graphics on this catalog. Flux 2 Max is 6 credits flat, photorealistic, detailed: the bottle, the fabric, the table. Nano Banana 2 is 4 credits discounted (7 full), edit-image, up to 14 references: the loop when the kit is right and one object is wrong. Do not use Banana 2 to typeset the wordmark. Do not use Recraft 4.1 as the listing photograph. The free batch brand kit is a different door: palette bar and watermark on files already on your machine, no upload. Use it to stamp a set you already approved, not to invent the look. Versely is not Canva's 100 Brand Kits. It is not Firefly Custom Models. It is the app when the kit lives next to the model picker and you still want Flux, Recraft, and Banana 2 on one bill.

    5. Figma. Open Figma when the kit is a design system, not a prompt. Figma pricing (read 20 September 2026): Professional Full $16 a month with 3,000 AI credits, Organization Full $55 a month billed annually with 3,500. Variables, styles, team libraries, and (on Organization) shared fonts are the kit. Figma Buzz brand-template publishing is the "only swap the photo and the line" seat. Figma Design AI will Make image. That generate does not become a library component unless you put it there. The consistent still is the component with a photo well, not eight Weave outputs. Figma is a bad first app if nobody on the team will maintain variables. It is the right app when "navy" is a token, not a memory.

    6. Photoroom. Open Photoroom when the kit is a listing law: white or brand field, shadow, size, the same bottle every time. Photoroom's pricing (read 20 September 2026) lists Brand Kit on Pro, Max, and Ultra. Pro is 8,000 AI credits and 1,000 exports, Max 25,000 and 3,000, Ultra 75,000 and 10,000. Monthly stickers (PulseSignal, 14 September 2026): $12.99, $34.99, $99. Background Remover, retouch, and shadow presets are core tools. AI Backgrounds Studio is the credit tool. Save the field colour. Save the shadow. Batch the catalog. Do not treat Photoroom's Brand Kit as a replacement for Figma variables or Canva type. It is the kit for product stills that have to match a marketplace. A fashion-model generate is a different meter (and a different honesty problem if the garment is not the SKU).

How to pick without six kits

You do not need six brand systems. You need one source of truth, then one generate.

    • Layout law, templates, a marketing team already in Canva: Canva Brand Kit. Generate photos elsewhere if Ultra is scarce.
    • Trained look plus commercial-safety on Adobe's own models: Firefly Custom Models.
    • Glyphs, illustration, SVG, shared styles: Recraft.
    • Saved kit next to Flux, Recraft 4.1, and Banana 2: Versely. References for the SKU. Overlay for the hex.
    • Tokens, libraries, a product org: Figma.
    • Catalog fields, white or brand sweep, batch export: Photoroom.

Two apps is a brand stack. Figma (or Canva) plus one generate. The generate is Firefly, Recraft, Versely, or Photoroom, depending on whether the still is a trained look, a mark, a mixed row, or a listing. Saving the same navy in all six is not a kit. It is six places to drift.

Credits are not dollars on Versely. Do not convert 3, 4, or 6 into USD. Canva, Firefly, Recraft, Figma, and Photoroom publish USD seats. Quote those dated.

After the still matches the kit

Eyedropper the field against the token. Close enough is a different brand under store lighting. Proof the logo at 100 percent. A generated wordmark is a cousin mark. Stamp the real SVG.

If the copy will change, it is overlay. If the product will ship, it is a photograph or a reference-locked still you would show legal. A kit does not make a generated bottle into the SKU.

When the kit is saved and the stills row is the job, sign up and run it. When the kit is a template library, stay in Canva or Figma. The list is six apps. The brand is one file of constraints.

    FAQ

Is a hex in the kit a guarantee in the photo?

On overlays and captions, yes. In a generated scene, no. It is a strong hint competing with the lighting the model chose. Stamp the colour as type or a shape if it must be exact. Reference a product photo if the object must be exact.

Can I skip Figma if Canva already has the kit?

If the team ships from Canva and nobody maintains variables, yes. If the kit is a multi-product design system, Figma is the source and Canva is a downstream template. Two kits without a source of truth is how navy becomes two navies.

Why is Versely in the middle of the list, not first?

Because this page is the kit, not a homepage. Recraft 4.1, Flux 2 Max, and Banana 2 are real on-brand rows. They are not Canva's Brand Kit or Firefly Custom Models. If you wanted the kit next to a model picker, Versely is the row. If you wanted 100 template kits and approvals, it is not.
