Suno Sounds V6 is 2 credits a call

Suno Sounds V6, Mini, and Wild are 2 credits a call in models.json. That is the sfx and bed meter, not signed-in song V6 at 3 credits.

    Versely Team13 min read

Suno Sounds V6 is 2 credits a call. Sounds V6 Mini is 2. Sounds V6 Wild is 2. Those three integers sit on the Versely catalog rows for sound effects and background beds, read from models.json on 19 September 2026. Billing is flat. The unit is a call. Length does not move the sticker. There is no percent-off on the card.

That meter is not the signed-in song family. In the studio, Suno V6, V6 Mini, and V6 Wild bill 3 credits a generation (two takes) while the launch discount runs. Two is not a sale on three. The names collide. The jobs do not. This page is the 2-credit Sounds call. The song picker already has a page: Suno V6 live on Versely. Suno.com's export cap is a third object: Suno caps downloads, not songs. Do not restack either here.

There is also no public /models/suno-sounds-v6 URL. The Sounds V6 slugs are active catalog rows. They are not in scripts/_published-models.json. This page quotes the credits. It does not mint those paths. The published Sounds door is still Suno Sounds V5.5, which is also 2 credits a call.

A call is flat. Length does not move it

A call is one generate on that row. It is not a minute. It is not a per-second cell. It is not two takes. The Sounds V6 price matrix on 19 September 2026 is blunt: billingType flat, dimension none, perSecond false, durationDriven false, discountPct 0, unit call. min_credits, max_credits, full_min_credits, and full_max_credits are all 2. display_price is 2. display_original_price is 2. is_discounted is false. There is no struck-through 3 hiding under the 2.

If you came from video rows, this will feel wrong. A duration-driven clip has a floor, a ceiling, and a cell you multiply. A 3-second plate and a 15-second plate are different bills. Sounds V6 is not that shape. You do not get a cheaper 800-millisecond whoosh. You do not pay more because the bed loops for thirty seconds. The catalog does not even list a duration chip on these cards. supports_durations is empty. The estimator has nothing to multiply.

That is the whole reason to read the card before you budget a week of Reels. Ten hits are 20 credits. Ten beds are 20 credits. Mixing hits and beds does not invent a bulk rate. There is no "first five seconds 2, each extra second 1" block. If a spreadsheet still says 1, it is probably reading Suno Sounds V5, a different unpublished row at 1 credit a call with no lyrics capture. If a spreadsheet says 3, it is reading the song family in the signed-in studio, not these Sounds rows.

Two takes is a song-family fact, not a Sounds fact. The in-product song picker prices a generation, and that generation comes back as two takes, at 3 credits while the 40 percent launch discount runs (5 before the cut). The Sounds card does not promise a pair. Do not budget "2 credits, two beds." Budget 2 credits, one call, one file. If you need a second bed, that is a second call.

Versely credits are credits. This page does not convert them to dollars. A vendor invoice on suno.com is a different currency and a different product. Quote this row in catalog credits. Quote Suno's own site in Suno's own units. Do not invent an exchange rate between them.

Content type on all three V6 Sounds rows is audio. Category is text-to-audio. requires_image is false. audio is true because the output is audio, not because a silent video row grew a soundtrack. You type a prompt. You get a sound file. You do not upload a still to start the job. If the brief is "animate this jpeg," you are on an image-to-video row, not here.

Three Sounds V6 rows, none of them a /models URL

The data file stores three V6 Sounds slugs, all released 2026-09-11, all is_active true, all billed the same. Catalog copy, not a review score:

Row slug Catalog job (from models.json) min max Unit Published /models/?
Suno Sounds V6 suno-sounds-v6 Sound effects and background music from text, with looping, tempo, key, lyrics subtitle capture 2 2 call No. Cite only
Suno Sounds V6 Mini suno-sounds-v6-mini Lightweight, faster cut of V6, same looping / tempo / key / lyrics capture 2 2 call No. Cite only
Suno Sounds V6 Wild suno-sounds-v6-wild Bolder, more distinctive sound design, same feature list 2 2 call No. Cite only
Suno Sounds V5.5 suno-sounds-v5-5 Published Sounds door, same 2-credit flat call, lyrics capture on the card 2 2 call Yes
Suno Sounds V5 suno-sounds-v5 Older sound generate, looping / tempo / key, no lyrics capture 1 1 call No. Cite only

Features on V6, Mini, Wild, and V5.5 are the same list: sound_generation, looping, tempo_control, key_control, lyrics_capture. Mini is not a cheaper SKU. Wild is not a dearer SKU. On this snapshot they are three labels on one 2-credit sticker. If Mini is faster, that is a latency claim in the catalog description, not a discount. If Wild is bolder, that is a character claim, not a surcharge. Pay 2 either way. Pick the label for the texture you want, not for the bill.

Do not turn those unpublished slugs into links. A /models/suno-sounds-v6 path is not in the published-models allowlist. Neither is Mini. Neither is Wild. Neither is V5. Linking them would 404 a reader who believed a blog. The public Sounds URL you can actually open is Suno Sounds V5.5. V5.5 is not "proof V6 Sounds is missing from the app." It is the marketing page that shipped. The V6 Sounds rows live in the data file at the same 2-credit flat rate. Quote the file. Open V5.5 when you need a published card. Generate from the AI music generator, not from a URL this site has not published.

Suno Introducing v6 announcement Suno's Introducing v6 post (9 September 2026) is the song family: v6, v6-wild, v6-mini. The Versely Sounds V6 rows are a separate catalog object, billed 2 credits a call, without a public model page.

Suno's own 9 September post is useful context for when the v6 name landed. It is not a price list for these Sounds rows. Suno wrote a three-model song family with industry partners. Versely's catalog, two days later in released_at, stores three Sounds rows described as sound effects and background music. Keep the vendor blog and the catalog card in different hands. The vendor blog does not print "2 credits a call." The catalog card does not print Suno's Pro download column.

V5 at 1 credit is the cheap older sibling. It lacks lyrics_capture. If you only need a whoosh or a room tone and you do not want subtitle timing off the generate, V5 is the 1-credit row in the file. It is also unpublished. Cite 1. Do not mint /models/suno-sounds-v5. Do not assume V6 Mini inherited that 1-credit sticker. It did not. Mini is 2.

Hits, loops, and beds: the 2-credit job

Pay this meter when the file is a sound, not a song you would ship as the record.

Hits: a whoosh on a title card, a riser into a cut, a door, a footstep, a UI tick. One prompt, one call, 2 credits. If the cut needs three different hits, that is three calls. Do not write a paragraph that asks one generate to be a whole Foley session and then feel cheated when one file comes back.

Loops and beds: background music under picture, room-ish texture, an instrumental that can sit under talk. The card lists looping, tempo, and key because those are the controls that make a bed usable in an edit. Prompt the loop if the timeline is longer than the file. Prompt the key and tempo if the bed has to lock to a listing, a VO, or a clip that already has a pulse. Prompt instrumental if a person is about to talk over it. A singer under a talker is two mouths. Captions will hear both.

Lyrics subtitle capture is on the V6 Sounds cards, same as V5.5. It is a feature for when the generate includes words you might burn as timing. It is not a reason to treat this row as the vocal flagship. If you need a chorus the audience should hear as a song, you wanted the 3-credit signed-in family, not a 2-credit Sounds call with a verse stuffed into the prompt. If lyrics show up on a bed you wanted mute-under-talk, the prompt was the miss. Write instrumental and spend the second 2 credits. Do not "fix" it by opening the song picker and paying 3 for a mute layer.

    What this meter is not:

    • A hero track you will title, stem, and deliver as the work. That is song-shaped. Use the studio song family and read Suno V6 live on Versely for the 3-credit picker. This page will not restack Mini versus Wild for songs.
    • A suno.com download slot. Generating a Sounds bed on Versely does not spend Pro's 20 or Premier's 60. Those numbers live on Suno's site. When the question is "how many files can I take off Suno this month," open Suno caps downloads, not songs. When the question is "what does this catalog row cost," stay here.
    • Native audio on a video model. A Veo or Seedance take that already made a room is a different bill. Do not stack a 2-credit bed on top of baked-in ambience unless you meant to. Listen to the clip first.
    • Voiceover. TTS is not Sounds. If the line is spoken copy, you wanted a speech row, not a whoosh.

A practical split for a week of short-form: spend 2-credit calls on the hits and the beds you will duck. Spend 3-credit generations on the one track a viewer should actually hear. Burn captions on the mute-first cut so the bed is not doing the job of text. The generate door for music-shaped work in the app is still the AI music generator. The Sounds rows are the cheap, flat, sfx-and-bed end of that world. They are not a secret 2-credit song.

Suno product home Suno's product home. Versely's Sounds V6 numbers are catalog credits on unpublished rows, not a screenshot of suno.com pricing and not a public /models page.

    2 is not a discount off 3

The mix-up is the names. V6, Mini, and Wild appear twice in one product universe.

Once as Sounds rows in models.json: text-to-audio, sound generation, 2 credits a call, min equals max, no duration, no discount, unpublished as /models pages.

Once as signed-in song models in the studio: 3 credits a generation, two takes, launch discount from 5, Mini as the faster lane at the same 3, not a free tier. That picker is a photograph of a different meter.

Versely Music studio Suno V6 model picker Versely Music studio song picker: Suno V6, V6 Mini, and V6 Wild at 3 credits a generation (5 struck through). This is not the Sounds V6 2-credit call. If you came for a whoosh or a mute bed, you are looking at the other family.

Read the screenshot as a warning label. The footer prices a track. The Sounds card prices a call. Quoting 2 because you saw "V6" on a blog, then generating a song at 3, is how a budget dies of a naming collision. Quoting 3 for a UI whoosh is how you overpay for Foley. Write the object in the cell: "Sounds V6, 2, call" or "song V6, 3, generation, two takes." Future you will not remember which V6 you meant.

Public marketing can lag. A Sounds V5.5 page can still rank while V6 Sounds rows sit in the data file. A song family can be live in the signed-in app without a /models/suno-v6 URL. None of that is a glitch you should "fix" by inventing a third price. Recheck models.json the day you publish a quote. Recheck the in-product picker the day you spend. This snapshot is 19 September 2026.

Do not spend a Suno Pro download on a bed you will mute. That sentence belongs to the download post, and it stays there. The only overlap worth repeating is the object test: if nobody is supposed to hear the file as a song, do not pay a song meter for it, on any vendor. On Versely, that usually means the 2-credit Sounds call (or the 1-credit V5 row) instead of the 3-credit song generation. On suno.com, that usually means do not export the bed at all.

If the week is hits, beds, and captions on one bill, start at https://app.versely.studio/signup. You will not get a published Sounds V6 model page out of that signup. You will get a studio that already has a music door and a caption door. The 2-credit figure is the catalog fact for the Sounds V6 family of rows. Use it as a bill, not as a URL.

    FAQ

Is there a public /models/suno-sounds-v6 page?

No. suno-sounds-v6, suno-sounds-v6-mini, and suno-sounds-v6-wild are catalog slugs in models.json. They are not in scripts/_published-models.json on 19 September 2026. Do not link them. Do not hunt them. Quote 2 credits a call from the file. The published Sounds page is Suno Sounds V5.5, also 2 credits a call. Generate from the AI music generator.

Is Sounds V6 the same as signed-in Suno V6 at 3 credits?

No. Sounds V6 is a text-to-audio row for sound effects and background beds, flat at 2 credits per call, no duration chip, no discount. Signed-in Suno V6 is the song family in the studio at 3 credits a generation (two takes) while the launch discount runs. Mini and Wild exist on both sides of that split. Same nicknames. Different meters. The song picker is documented on Suno V6 live on Versely. This page does not restack that picker.

Are Sounds V6 Mini and Wild cheaper than Sounds V6?

No. All three Sounds V6 rows bill 2 credits a call on this snapshot. Mini's catalog copy is "lightweight, faster." Wild's is "bolder, more distinctive sound design." Neither number moves. V5 is the 1-credit Sounds row, older, no lyrics capture, also unpublished. If you need the cheap hit and you can live without lyrics timing, V5 is the 1 in the file. Mini is not that 1.
