A credit is the unit. A job deducts some number of them, decided by the model's billing type: per-second, flat, per-megapixel, and the rest of the catalogue mix. A subscription grants a pile of those credits on a cadence. A credit pack is the other way to put credits on the same balance: a one-time SKU, not a second wallet, not a seat, not an API allowance. API calls draw from that balance the same way in-app generates do.
Packs are not a different currency. Twenty pack credits and twenty subscription credits buy the same job. They also do not change how a model meters: lengthening a per-second clip still costs more credits; a flat row does not. The pack only answers 'how many credits are on the account.' /pricing lists the live pack sizes; this page is the object, not the menu.
Do not confuse a pack with a token budget. A token is a text fragment an LLM counts. A credit is a whole generate. Buying a pack because a prompt was long is the wrong lever — the model's billing type already folded that arithmetic into the job price, or it never billed by characters at all.
In practice
- Top up the same balance the plan fills. There is no separate pack wallet and no API-only pack.
- Check billing type before you assume a longer clip will spend the pack faster. Flat rows will not.
- Batch jobs spend packs linearly: ten variants are ten jobs.
The mistake to avoid
Treating a credit pack as a cheaper per-job rate. It buys more of the same unit. The job still costs whatever that model charges in credits.

Credit
A credit is Versely's own metering unit — a fixed amount is deducted from your balance for each generation, so one number covers every provider's wildly different native pricing.
Billing type
Billing type is which measurable thing a model's price is actually keyed to — time, a flat per-job charge, or the size of the input or output — and it is why two models can charge wildly different credit totals for what looks like the same request.
Per-second pricing
Per-second pricing bills a generate by the length of the finished clip, so credits scale with duration rather than with a flat job fee.
Seat
A seat is one named user on a team plan. Per-seat pricing charges for each of those people; Versely does not — credits are shared, not licensed per head.
