    6 apps for a 30-day content batch

CapCut, Canva, Descript, Versely, Opus Clip, and Later fill a 30-day batch. Edit, brand, cut speech, generate from stills, clip long form, then schedule.

A 30-day content batch is one sitting that fills the month. It is not 30 sittings. Six apps split that sitting. CapCut edits the footage you already have. Canva makes the branded stills and carousels. Descript turns one talking-head dump into several clips. Versely is generate from stills, named templates, and captions. Opus Clip pulls shorts from a long file you recorded last quarter. Later is the calendar those files land on. This page is that list. It is not "best AI content 2026." It is not a Versely landing page with five decoys.

Versely is not a scheduler. If the sitting ends with "who posts this on Tuesday," that is Later (or Buffer). Do not buy a generate seat because you needed a queue.

What a 30-day batch actually is

The sitting has four piles, not one:

    • Footage you already shot: phone clips, a webinar, a kitchen ramble
    • Stills you already have: packshots, staff photos, a pet, a screenshot
    • Speech you already recorded: a podcast, a Loom, an interview
    • Posts that are not video: a quote card, a carousel, a Link in Bio tile

Most people open CapCut and try to make all four. That is how a Sunday becomes a week. CapCut is excellent at the first pile. It is a slow Canva. It is a worse Descript for a 40-minute transcript. It will not invent a Finger Snap. It will not put 30 Reels on Instagram at 9am without you tapping Publish.

A batch also is not 30 original ideas. It is 8 to 12 ideas, each turned into two or three files (a Reel, a square, a static). If you need 30 unique scripts, you do not have a batching problem. You have a writing problem, and none of these six apps will save the sitting.

Proof the stills and the transcript before you generate or clip. A misspelled label becomes 30 misspelled posts. A ramble with no claim becomes 12 shorts with no claim.

    The six apps

    1. CapCut. Start here if the month is footage. Phone clips in, jump cuts, auto captions, a 9:16 export, thirty times. Free is usable for a weekly Reel and for a batch if you stay on free templates and 1080p. Independent 2026 reads of the US App Store (CapCut Guide, checked 17 September 2026) list Standard around $9.99 a month and Pro around $19.99 a month, with marketing copy for Pro at $179.99 a year. Confirm the live upgrade screen. Region, web checkout, and App Store do not match. The point of CapCut in a batch is speed on files you already have: one project style, duplicate, swap the clip, export. You leave CapCut when the file does not exist yet, when the file is a 50-minute podcast, or when the post is a brand carousel that already lives in Canva.

    2. Canva. Start here if a third of the month is not a Reel. Brand Kit, a quote template, Magic Resize (Magic Switch) into 4:5 and 9:16, a carousel that can sit next to the video days so the grid does not look like two brands. Moda (9 September 2026, reading canva.com/pricing) puts Canva Pro at $18 a month or $180 a year for one person. Independent reads of the 2026 AI table (The Rundown, 29 August 2026; Moda, 9 September 2026) give Pro up to 2,000 Standard, 200 Premium, or 20 Ultra AI uses a month. Image-to-video sits on Premium. High-quality video clips sit on Ultra. Twenty Ultra uses is a ceiling if you spend the bucket on nothing else. For a 30-day batch, Canva is the frame and the static days. It is a bad video factory. If you blow Ultra on 20 generated clips, Magic Write and image gen starve the same month. Keep Canva for the posts that are design. Drop MP4s from CapCut, Descript, Versely, or Opus Clip onto the template when you need the logo on the file.

    3. Descript. Open Descript when the sitting starts with someone talking for 20 minutes. You edit the video by editing the transcript. Silence comes out. Studio Sound cleans the room. Create Clips (Underlord) pulls shorts from the same file. Descript's pricing page (read 20 September 2026, annual) lists Free at 60 media minutes a month, Hobbyist at $16 a person a month ($24 billed monthly) with 10 media hours and 400 AI credits, Creator at $24 ($35 monthly) with 30 hours and 800 credits, Business at $50 ($65 monthly) with 40 hours, 1,500 credits, and Brand Studio. Watermark-free export starts at Hobbyist. Free is a test. A 30-day batch that starts from two recorded hours wants Hobbyist or Creator, not 60 minutes. Descript is the wrong app if nobody talked. It is the right app if the owner sat down once and you need eight Reels without opening a timeline 30 times.

    4. Versely. Versely sits here because a batch that is only footage and speech still has still days, and still days are a generate job. Finger Snap is one photo, about 18 credits discounted (35 full). Mugshot is one photo, about 20 discounted (40 full). Those are one-taps you can run in a row from a folder of staff photos. If the still is a product and the month needs a short orbit, that is image-to-video: Hailuo 2.3 Fast is 12 credits at 6s discounted (23 full) and 23 at 10s (45 full). Captions are a later burn on caption styles, not a generate. Pin one family for the month. Versely is not CapCut. It will not cut the kitchen ramble. It is not Later. There is no visual calendar, no Best Time to Post, no auto publish to Instagram. If you came here because you needed 30 slots on a grid, you are in the wrong app. If you came here because ten of those slots are "one photo, one clip," this is the row.

    5. Opus Clip. Open Opus Clip when the sitting starts with a long file, not a still. ClipAnything is the model they sell for podcasts, vlogs, sports, and files with little dialogue. Auto hook, AI captions, and a 9:16 reframe are on the free row. Opus Clip's pricing page (read 20 September 2026) lists Free at $0, Starter at $15 a month, Pro at $29 a month, Business custom. The homepage FAQ (same day) says new users get a 7-day Pro trial (90 minutes of processing, about 30 downloadable clips) and a free-forever plan with 60 minutes a month. Pro is the row with 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 reframe, bulk export, and a social scheduler. Starter is 9:16 only. Do not buy Pro because you wanted a calendar. Buy Pro if you will actually reframe three ratios from the same long file. Opus Clip is the wrong first click if the month is packshots. It is the right first click if you already recorded a 40-minute episode and the batch is "get 12 shorts out of it."

    6. Later. Open Later last. The files exist. Now they need dates. Later's scheduler is a visual calendar plus a drag-and-drop feed preview. Later's pricing (read 20 September 2026, yearly, 25 percent off) lists Starter at $18.75 a month billed yearly: 1 social set (8 profiles), 1 user, 30 scheduled posts per profile per month, 5 AI credits, a 14-day trial. Growth is $37.50: 2 sets, 2 users, 180 posts per profile, 50 AI credits. Scale is $82.50: 6 sets, 4 users, unlimited posts, 100 AI credits. A Social Set is one of each network Later supports (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat). Starter's 30 posts per profile is exactly a 30-day daily batch on one Instagram, if you do not also schedule Stories and extra Reels on that same counter. Posts count when they are scheduled, not when they publish. Later auto-publishes to Instagram business and creator accounts, Facebook, TikTok business, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, and Snapchat. Instagram and TikTok also offer notification publishing if you still need stickers in the native app. Later is not a video editor. It will not caption a Reel. It will not generate a Finger Snap. It is the last app in the sitting on purpose.

How to pick without stacking six bills

You do not need six subscriptions to fill a month. You need the piles you actually have.

    • Footage only: CapCut, then Later (or post native).
    • Statics and a brand grid: Canva, then Later.
    • One recorded ramble: Descript, then Later.
    • A folder of photos: Versely, then Later. Caption on Versely or in CapCut.
    • A podcast or webinar: Opus Clip, then Later. Pro if you need 1:1 and 16:9 from the same file.
    • A mixed month: two makers plus one calendar. The usual honest pair is CapCut plus Later, or Canva plus Later. Add Descript or Opus Clip when speech is the source. Add Versely when stills are the source.

Two maker apps plus a scheduler is a batch stack. Six logins is how the sitting becomes a second job. Do not pay Later and Buffer for the same Instagram. Do not pay Opus Clip and Descript for the same 20-minute talking head unless one is the transcript edit and the other is a dump-and-clip you refuse to open. Pick.

Credits are not dollars on Versely. Quote 18 or 12 as credits. Later, Canva, Descript, and Opus Clip publish USD seats. Those are their meters. Date them to the day you read the page.

    After the files exist

The sitting is not done at export.

Name files with the date you will post, not "final_final_3." Later's media folder (and Canva, and Dropbox) is where batches go to die if the filenames are moods. A month of "Reel idea" is not a calendar.

Mute still needs words. If you edited in CapCut or Descript, burn captions there. If you generated on Versely, burn a caption style on the locked cut. Overlay a price you might change. Type in the pixels of a generated still is a reprint if the number moves.

Do not generate 30 Finger Snaps from 30 different templates and call it a brand. A batch that looks like a slot machine is worse than a week of silence. Lock one caption family and one template (or one motion look) before Sunday. Vary the still and the line.

When ten of the slots are one photo and a clip, sign up and run the templates. When the slots are a calendar, stay in Later. The list is six apps. The sitting is usually two.

    FAQ

Can I batch 30 days in CapCut alone?

If every post is a phone clip you already shot, yes. Duplicate a project, swap the file, export. You still need a way to post. CapCut is not Later. If some of the days are stills, speech, or carousels, CapCut-only is how Sunday becomes Wednesday.

Why is Versely in the middle, not the calendar?

Because this page is the sitting, not a homepage. Finger Snap and Hailuo are real batch work. They are not a visual planner. If you needed 30 green slots on Instagram, Later is the row. If you needed ten of those slots to exist as files, Versely might be.

Is Later Starter enough for a daily Reel plus Stories?

Often not. Starter is 30 scheduled posts per profile per month. A daily Reel is 30. Stories, extras, and a second Reel on Friday count against the same 30. Growth is 180 per profile. Count the posts, then pick the plan. Do not count "days in the month."
