Dreamina is not the only way to run Seedance

Arena writes dreamina-seedance-2.0-720p and dreamina-seedance-2.5-720p. That string is a config, not a vendor lock. You do not need ByteDance's consumer app to use 2.5.

Dreamina (Jimeng, in the surfaces that still use that name) is one place ByteDance ships Seedance. Doubao is another. CapCut is another. Seedance 2.5 in Versely is another. The board named the first one because that is the build it sampled. Ranking a Dreamina-prefixed row does not mean the model lives in Dreamina. It means the benchmarker pulled that configuration.

If you are choosing a home because the leaderboard says "dreamina," you are choosing a launcher from a filename.

What the board name actually says

Read the entry as three facts glued together:

• dreamina- — the surface or serving config the benchmark used
• seedance-2.5 — the model family
• -720p — the resolution of that sample, not the ceiling of the product

Drop any one of those and the Elo is about something else. The 2.0 versus 2.5 ranking gap is the version argument; this page is the surface argument.
