AI video studios working in London
Twelve studios. Order is the order we verified them, not a ranking.
Myth Labs
Myth Labs is a London AI video studio for brands and agencies. It makes photoreal campaign films, research animatics, broadcast commercials and multi-market localisations with directed generative workflows. Named work: PepsiCo AI video production partner, listed on the AI video production page.
The studio FAQ states research animatics at GBP 4,000 to 15,000 per route, and broadcast campaigns at GBP 15,000 to 120,000 and up, including localisation. Ask what a route includes, how many markets sit in the broadcast band, and how many revision rounds are in the fee.
Best for: UK brand and agency teams that want published animatic and broadcast bands plus a named PepsiCo partnership.
Wonder Studios
Wonder Studios is a London AI-native film, TV, commercial and music-video studio, founded in 2025. It produces branded campaigns, hybrid spots and original films with a roster of award-winning creatives. Named work: Lewis Capaldi Something in the Heavens, on the creative portfolio.
No public rate. A music-video or hybrid commercial brief should ask whether the job is a branded campaign, a hybrid spot or an original film, who holds music and talent licences, and how many finishing rounds are in the fee.
Best for: brands and labels that want a London AI-native studio with a named Lewis Capaldi film on file.
Private Island
Private Island is a London mixed-media production studio, founded in 2015. It makes unconventional commercials at the intersection of live action, VFX, animation and generative AI for brands and agencies. Named work: Original Source Nature Hits Different.
No public rate. Ask where live action ends and generation starts on your brief, whether VFX and animation are separate lines from the generative pass, and who owns unused plates.
Best for: brands and agencies that want a mixed-media commercial with live action, VFX, animation and generative AI on one team.
Synima
Synima is a global video agency with a London Soho studio, founded in 2000. It produces generative AI commercials, social campaigns, avatars and hybrid spots with Veo, Seedance and related finishing tools. Named work: Oura Ring AI brand commercial, published as a case study.
No public rate. Ask which office will staff the job, whether the commercial, social campaigns and avatar work are one contract or separate lines, and what hybrid means on your brief: plates they shoot, plates you supply, or generated picture plus conventional post.
Best for: brands that want a Soho video agency with a public Oura Ring AI commercial on file.
BearJam
BearJam is a London video production company, founded in 2012. It makes AI-generated brand films, hybrid spots, social cutdowns and localised versions with in-house AI artists plus traditional craft. Named work: Osprey Visions of the Future.
No public rate. Ask how many social cutdowns sit in the same bid as the brand film, whether localisation is a new generation or a recut, and how the in-house AI artists hand off to traditional craft.
Best for: brands that want AI-generated brand films, hybrid spots and social cutdowns with in-house AI artists plus traditional craft.
Sidekick Studios
Sidekick Studios is a London production company making fully AI-generated commercials and paid-social ads with Seedance, Kling, Midjourney, Runway and Veo for startups and brands. Named work: Stratiphy Great Timing AI commercial, on the AI video page.
No public rate. Ask how many paid-social cuts are in the fee, whether unused generations transfer, and which model family is locked so a later cutdown can match. Confirm the paid-social delivery spec.
Best for: startups and brands that want fully AI-generated commercials and paid-social ads from a London production company.
The Forge
The Forge is a London stills and motion studio. It generates campaign films from hero photography with private brand-trained models, hybrid AI motion, Unreal environments and commercial finishing. Named work: Ted Baker AI production.
No public rate. Ask how many hero stills you must supply, whether the brand-trained model stays with you after the job, and how Unreal environments are approved against the brand's real locations or stores. Hybrid AI motion should be specified shot by shot.
Best for: brands that already have hero photography and want campaign films from private brand-trained models and hybrid AI motion.
Nexus Studios
Nexus Studios is a London film and experience studio making branded films, animation and hybrid live-action work, including generative AI as a rendering layer inside puppetry and CGI pipelines. Named work: Google I/O TPU Training Day.
No public rate. Ask whether your job uses puppetry, CGI, live action or a generated rendering layer, and who owns the puppets, rigs and unused renders. A branded film and an experience are different deliverables.
Best for: brands that want a London film and experience studio that can use generative AI inside puppetry and CGI pipelines.
Factory Fifteen
Factory Fifteen is a London film and experience-design studio, founded in 2011, led by BAFTA and Emmy-winning directors. It builds cinematic worlds, branded films and AI-themed immersive showroom installations. Named work: Zeekr Krypton AI immersive film.
No public rate. An immersive showroom installation is a different job from a branded film. Ask which one you are buying, what the physical install includes, and who owns the world assets after the showroom comes down.
Best for: brands that need cinematic worlds, branded films or AI-themed immersive showroom installations from a director-led London studio.
UNIT9
UNIT9 is a London innovation production company, founded in 1997. It makes films, digital experiences and AI-powered work including deepfake video, virtual influencers and real-time VFX for global brands. Named work: Lays Messi Messages deepfake.
No public rate. Deepfake video and virtual influencers are likeness jobs. Ask for the consent that covers generation, the uses and the term, before you brief. Real-time VFX and a linear film are different deliverables.
Best for: global brands that need films, digital experiences, deepfake video, virtual influencers or real-time VFX from a London production company.
Prime AI Media
Prime AI Media is a London cinematic ad studio making AI-powered brand films, luxury social reels and multilingual campaigns in English, Arabic and Persian for worldwide luxury brands. Named work: Amber Luxe Voyage perfume film, on the work page.
The pricing page lists packages from GBP 400 Essential, GBP 950 Signature and GBP 1,950 Prestige. Ask what each package includes (length, revisions, languages) and whether a multilingual campaign is one package or a per-language line. Confirm Arabic and Persian delivery specs if those markets are in the brief.
Best for: luxury brands that need cinematic AI brand films or social reels, including English, Arabic and Persian versions.
Metapix Media
Metapix Media is a Central London studio making AI video, AI avatar films, inpainting and automated social content alongside hybrid live-action production for brands and creators. Named work: DJI and Hohem brand content, on the about page.
The about page states pay as you go hourly rates, packages and monthly plans. It does not publish a number. Ask which of those three you are buying, how many avatar films or social cuts sit in a plan, and whether hybrid live-action days are extra.
Best for: brands and creators that want AI video, avatar films, inpainting or automated social content, with hybrid live-action as an option.
How to choose
Ask four questions. Put the answers in the quote.
Turnaround against the London buy. Working days from signed brief to locked master, including render queues and legal. Fully generative paid-social packs can lock in days if the brief is frozen. Hybrid plate shoots, Unreal environments, immersive installs and broadcast finish run in weeks. Ask whether the quote is plus VAT.
Live action, hybrid, or generated? Private Island, BearJam, Synima, The Forge, Nexus Studios, Wonder Studios and Metapix Media describe hybrid, live action, VFX, Unreal, puppetry or hybrid spots in their own copy. Sidekick Studios describes fully AI-generated commercials. Write the method as one sentence: they shoot plates, they use footage you supply, or they generate every frame.
Rights, releases, prompts and seeds. A photography release is not a generation release. UNIT9 names deepfake video and virtual influencers. Metapix and Synima name avatars. If a real person is in frame, you need a release that covers AI use, the uses and the term. If The Forge trains a private brand model, say whether those weights stay with you. Ask who owns prompts, seeds and unused generations, and how many revision rounds are in the fee.
Disclosure under UK ASA and CAP. The Advertising Standards Authority applies the CAP Code to ads however they were made. There is no blanket UK duty to stamp every AI-made ad as AI. The test is whether the ad is likely to mislead. A generated product shot that shows a result the product cannot deliver is treated as a claim. A generated person who looks like a real customer or expert is treated as an endorsement. Advertisers stay responsible for the finished ad, including claims a model invented. This page is not legal advice.
London rates
Most of the twelve studios bid against a brief. The table uses the four public London signals we verified: two AI studio package bands, plus traditional crew-hire and freelance-edit bands. Figures are what those pages stated, reviewed 2026-09-05, not a quote. For a wider cost picture, see AI video production cost.
| Company | Rate signal | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Airframe Media | Drone operator GBP 500 half-day / GBP 900 day; video editor GBP 450 per day; full crew GBP 750 per crew member per day excl VAT (updated 27 August 2026) | Airframe 2026 day rates |
| Myth Labs | Research animatics GBP 4,000 to 15,000 per route; broadcast campaigns GBP 15,000 to 120,000+ including localisation | Myth Labs site |
| Prime AI Media | Essential from GBP 400; Signature from GBP 950; Prestige from GBP 1,950 | Prime AI Media site |
| Video Editor London | Freelance editor GBP 50 to 175 per hour; day rate GBP 350 to 700 for most brand work; senior broadcast GBP 600 to 900+ per day (updated May 2026) | London video editing cost guide |
Airframe Media rates exclude VAT. A Prime package from GBP 400 is not comparable to a Myth Labs broadcast band. Ask every bidder for generation, live-action days, finishing, music, usage and VAT as separate lines.
Doing it in-house
A London brand or in-house team can produce campaign tests, social cutdowns and first-pass animatics on Versely. It is the in-house path, not a listed vendor.
Start from a locked still or a written shot list. Generate picture in the AI video generator with Kling 3.0 or Veo 3.1. Start from hero photography in image to video with Seedance 2.0 when the job is motion from a still. Assemble paid-social cuts in the AI marketing video generator. Keep a reviewer who can reject frames that invent product details. Own the prompts and seeds in your account. Keep ASA review in your existing pipeline: product accuracy, no fake testimonials, substantiation held before the ad runs.
Hire a studio from the list above when you need a director, a hybrid shoot, an immersive install, broadcast finishing or a named-production credit.
FAQ
How much does AI video production cost in London?
Public AI studio signals run from Prime AI Media packages from GBP 400 Essential, GBP 950 Signature and GBP 1,950 Prestige, to Myth Labs research animatics at GBP 4,000 to 15,000 per route and broadcast campaigns at GBP 15,000 to 120,000 and up. Traditional crew and edit bands from Airframe Media and Video Editor London sit in the table above. Most of the twelve studios do not publish a rate. For commercial-specific figures, see how much an AI commercial costs.
Do I have to disclose AI in a UK ad?
The ASA and the CAP Code do not require a blanket AI label. They require that the ad not mislead. Disclose when hiding the method would leave a false impression about the product, a person or a result. Advertisers stay responsible for AI-produced ads. This page is not legal advice.
Do London AI video studios still shoot live action?
Some do. Private Island, BearJam, Synima, The Forge, Nexus Studios, Wonder Studios and Metapix Media describe hybrid or live-action work in their own copy. Sidekick Studios describes fully AI-generated commercials. The quote should state whether they will shoot plates, use footage you supply, or generate every frame.
How long does AI video production take in London?
A fully generative paid-social pack can be days if the brief is locked and revisions are capped. A hybrid plate shoot, an Unreal environment, an immersive showroom or a broadcast finish is measured in weeks. Ask for working days from signed brief to locked master, including render queues and legal review.
Who owns the prompts and seeds if I hire a London studio?
Ask who owns the finished picture, unused generations, prompts, seeds and any brand-trained model. If those assets stay with the studio, you cannot restage a later cut without them. If a real person appears, you also need a model release that covers AI use.
