Omni Video generates; Flash Edit edits

Omni Video generates at 9 credits (T2V/I2V/R2V, 4K, 4–10s). Flash Edit is 13 credits, edit-video, audio false. We do not publish Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash.

Gemini Omni Video generates: 9 credits, text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-to-video, 4K, 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 seconds. Gemini Omni Flash Edit edits: 13 credits, edit-video, audio false. Google’s Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash (27 August 2026) is Google’s surface. Versely does not publish /models/gemini-omni-1-1-flash. Do not invent that slug.

Google’s developer post on Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash (27 August 2026) describes model id gemini-omni-1.1-flash: text/image/video in, video out 3–10s, 360p through 4K, scene extend with up to 10s of prior context in 10s increments to 40s cumulative, first+last interpolation, video ref ≤3s. Access: AI Studio, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Flow Plus/Pro/Ultra, Gemini app for extend. That is Google’s roster. This page is the two Versely rows.

Omni Video is the generate card

    Catalog: slug gemini-omni-video, audio null, categories T2V / I2V / R2V, durations 4 / 6 / 8 / 10s, 4K, 9 credits. Description: multimodal video generation; prompt plus optional reference images, source clips, character IDs, and audio IDs; 720p / 1080p / 4K; 16:9 or 9:16; quota images + videos×2 + character_ids ≤ 7.

Audio is null on the Versely card. Do not call this a native-audio row. If the brief is speech born with the picture as a published native-audio job, use Veo 3.1 (40 credits, 4 / 6 / 8s, 4K, audio true), Flux 3 T2V (9 credits, 5–20s, audio true), or another audio-true slug. Omni Video at 9 credits is the multimodal 4K generate, 4–10s, not Veo’s talking flag.

    Use Omni Video when:

    • You need a new 4 / 6 / 8 / 10s clip at 4K from a prompt, a still, or a small ref stack.
    • You are inside the quota (images + 2×videos + character IDs ≤ 7).
    • You accept audio null.

Do not use Omni Video when:

    • You already have a keeper and one thing is wrong. That is Flash Edit.
    • You need 12–30 seconds in one generate. Ceiling is 10s. Seedance 2.5, Flux 3 T2V, Grok Imagine Video, LTX Fast are the longer menus.
    • You need catalog native audio true.
    • You thought Google’s 40-second cumulative extend lived on this slug. It does not. Google’s 10s increments to 40s are on Google’s Omni 1.1 Flash surface. Versely’s Veo extend is a different row: Veo 3.1 extend is 40 credits, 7s, 720p, native audio.

I2V and R2V on the same 9-credit card mean the still can be the contract if you actually attach it. A prompt-only run is T2V behaviour. Attach the JPEG when the JPEG is the brief.

Ten seconds is the generate ceiling. It is also Google’s advertised output band (3–10s on the 27 August 2026 post). Versely lists 4 / 6 / 8 / 10, not 3s.

Flash Edit is the edit card

Catalog: slug gemini-omni-flash-edit, audio false, category edit-video, no duration list, resolution unset, 13 credits. Description: conversational video editing (video-to-video).

Audio false means this row is not a native-audio generate and not a promise to remix a score. Instruction-edit the picture. Check whether the source track survived. If you need a new talking take, generate on a native-audio model; do not “edit in” a monologue.

    Use Flash Edit when:

    • The Omni Video (or other) take is a keeper except for a named change.
    • You would be angry to lose the current identity.
    • You are willing to pay 13 credits instead of 9 to avoid a cousin.

Do not use Flash Edit when:

    • There is no source clip. Edit has nothing to bite. That is Omni Video generate at 9.
    • The blocking is wrong. Restage is a generate.
    • You wanted Google’s scene extend to 40s. Flash Edit is edit-video, not an extend-video slug, and Versely does not publish Omni 1.1 Flash extend as a catalog row.

Thirteen credits versus nine is the same pattern as Wan 2.7 edit (18) versus Wan 2.7 T2V (15): the edit sticker is not cheaper. It is the sticker that keeps the plate. Wan 2.7 edit is not a new generate is the Wan version. Stay on the family of the source when you can.

Write Flash Edit instructions as deltas: change the jacket, remove the extra person, hold the face. “Make it more cinematic” is a generate you typed into an edit box.

Google’s Omni 1.1 Flash is not a Versely slug

The 27 August 2026 post is real. The model id gemini-omni-1.1-flash is Google’s. Flow, AI Studio, and the Gemini app are Google’s doors. Versely’s published Omni rows are gemini-omni-video and gemini-omni-flash-edit only.

Do not write /models/gemini-omni-1-1-flash in a brief. It will not resolve.

Do not import Google’s 360p-draft cost claim (up to 60% faster and one-third the cost of 720p, Google’s claim) as a Versely credit. Versely bills 9 and 13 on these two cards.

Do not import the 40-second cumulative extend as something Omni Video will do in one 9-credit click. Ten seconds is the listed generate menu.

Do not treat Flow as the studio that “has Omni so you can leave.” Flow is a Google surface. The Google Flow is a Veo surface argument still holds: keep the model, leave the single-vendor furniture when the slate is not only Google’s.

If the job is Veo dialogue, run Veo 3.1. If the job is a 4K 10s multimodal generate without a native-audio flag, run Omni Video. If the job is a delta on a keeper, run Flash Edit. Three sentences. No invented fourth slug.

Caption after you have a file. Audio null / audio false does not skip burned-in captions on a mute feed. Add captions to video.

When you know generate versus edit, run that Omni row from Versely.

    FAQ

Is Gemini Omni Video a native-audio model on Versely?

The catalog field is null. Do not claim native audio on gemini-omni-video. Flash Edit is audio false. For native-audio true, use Veo 3.1, Flux 3 T2V, Seedance, or another audio-true card.

Can I extend to 40 seconds on these Versely Omni rows?

    No. Omni Video lists 4 / 6 / 8 / 10s. Flash Edit is edit-video, not extend-video. Google’s 10s increments to 40s cumulative are on Google’s Omni 1.1 Flash surface, not a Versely slug.

Why isn’t /models/gemini-omni-1-1-flash in the catalog?

We did not publish it. Google announced Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash on 27 August 2026 for AI Studio, Flow, and related Google doors. On Versely you have Omni Video (9 credits, generate) and Omni Flash Edit (13 credits, edit). Use those.
