Pixverse V4 vs V6, both silent

    Pixverse V4 is 12-credit T2V, audio null, 5s/8s. V6 T2V is 10 credits, audio null, 5s/8s, 1080p. Both silent; V4 is the older card, V6 the default.

Pixverse V4 is 12 credits, text-to-video, audio null, 5s or 8s, resolution unset. Pixverse V6 Text to Video is 10 credits, text-to-video, audio null, 5s or 8s, 1080p. Both are silent sentences. Twelve is not a better microphone. Twelve is the older card’s sticker. Draft on 10. Stay on V6 unless you can name why V4’s motion is the file.

This is not Pixverse V6 versus 5.6. 5.6 starts at 28 credits and is audio true. That page already exists. This page is two null cards. It is also not Effects versus Transition. Those are 12-credit edit-video passes. V4 and V6 are generates from a sentence. No image required on either.

Null is not false. Flash rows that publish false are mute on purpose. V4 and V6 leave audio unset. Do not expect native dialogue. Do not write a talking-presenter brief into V6 or into V4. Do not claim a soundtrack the flag does not grant.

V6 at 10 credits is the default silent sentence

Use V6 when you are testing whether a sentence wants to be a clip. Ten credits is how you find out. 5s is the glance. 8s is the hold. There is no 10s on V6. There is no 15s. Pixverse 5.6 Text to Video adds 10s and a microphone, from 28 credits. That is a different flag.

Resolution: 1080p on V6. Description mentions strong motion and prompt control, optional audio and multi-clip, up to 1080p. Optional in the copy is not audio true on the field. The field is null. 1080p is listed. That is the ceiling you can quote. The 10-credit card is the lowest band: V6 bills per second by resolution, 2 credits a second at SD, 4 at HD and 8 at the top band, so a 1080p take costs more than the sticker.

    When V6 is the pick:

    • You have a sentence, not a still that must survive as frame one.
    • Mute plus captions, or a VO you will lay, is the mix.
    • 5s or 8s at 1080p is enough.
    • You are not opening V4 to learn the same thing.

When V6 is the wrong pick:

    • Anyone has to speak in-model. Leave for 5.6 (from 28 credits), or leave the family: Grok Imagine Video is 24 credits, audio true, 720p; Veo 3.1 is 64 credits, audio true, 4K.
    • You have a still. This is T2V. I2V is a different Pixverse slug.
    • You needed 10s in this family. V6 stops at 8s.

Ten credits is the catalog sticker. Do not call 10 “free look-dev.” It is the generate.

V4 at 12 credits is the older null

V4’s description: Pixverse version 4 for creative video generation. Category text-to-video. Same 5s / 8s chips as V6. No 1080p token on the published res field. Audio null. 12 credits at SD, 16 at HD, 32 at 4K, flat per generation.

The old card is the routing smell, not the price. V6 does the silent sentence from 10 with a listed 1080p. Above SD the price order flips: V4 is a flat 16 at HD and 32 at 4K per generation, while V6 bills per second, 4 at HD and 8 at the top band. Effects and Transition also bill 12, but they are edit-video with an image gate. If you clicked V4 because you remembered “Pixverse is 12,” check whether you wanted an effect pass. If you wanted a generate, you wanted V6.

    When V4 is the pick:

    • A locked recipe must stay on V4’s motion, and you have written down why V6 failed that recipe.
    • You accept null audio and an unset resolution field.
    • You know V6 exists and you are still picking V4 on purpose.

When V4 is the wrong pick:

    • You are browsing. That is V6 at 10.
    • You needed 1080p listed. V6 lists it. V4 does not.
    • You needed speech. Neither row speaks. 5.6 does, from 28.

Do not run V4 first “to see quality” and then V6 because it is newer. You will train your eye on the older cousin and then try to recreate it on V6. Run V6 first. Promote to V4 only when V6’s motion is wrong in a way you can name, and V4 has historically been right for that named motion. If you cannot name it, stay on V6 or leave the family.

Kling 3 Turbo Text to Video is 22 credits (was 27), audio false, 3–15s, 1080p. That is another cheap silent sentence with an explicit false flag and a longer menu. V6 is 10 with null and 5s/8s. Turbo is not this comparison. Mute is not one row.

Same lengths, same null, different bill

    Production order:

    1. Write the sentence. Decide if anyone must speak. If yes, leave this pair.
    2. Run V6 at 5s.
    3. Run V6 at 8s only if the hold is the brief.
    4. Open V4 only with a named reason.

Captions are the soundtrack on both. The AI caption generator is the typesetting. Captions for silent autoplay is the plan. Burned-in captions are the short-form object. Twelve credits will not typeset better than ten.

Cartesia Sonic 3.5 is 4 credits per 1,000 characters if you need TTS under either take. Laying TTS under V4 does not justify picking it. The VO would have sat under V6 too.

Article 50 still applies to photoreal people. Ten credits does not exempt a generated face. Twelve does not either. Label at first exposure for EU audiences since 2 August 2026. The Article 50 disclosure template is the copy. YouTube’s 27 May 2026 Shorts overlay does not add a microphone to a null card.

Sora 2 T2V was 32 credits, native audio, 720p. The Sora API shuts 24 September 2026 (OpenAI Help Centre, September 2026). A leftover Sora talking brief is not V6 and not V4. A leftover mute 1080p 5s/8s brief is V6 from 10. V4 is what you pick when you refuse that map.

The AI video generator is the launcher. UGC that is a premise with no photo can live on V6. Picking V4 does not make the premise more authentic.

    What 12 is not here

12 is not native audio. 12 is not a 4K price: V4 bills 32 at 4K. 12 is not 10s. 12 is Pixverse V4 text-to-video, null audio, 5s / 8s, resolution unset. Ten is the silent Pixverse V6 generate. Twenty-eight is where the talking one starts. Keep those three numbers separate.

    FAQ

Does Pixverse V6 have native audio?

The published card is audio null. So is V4. Neither is a talking row. Pixverse 5.6 is audio true, from 28 credits.

    Why would I pick V4 when V6 is 10?

Only when a named motion on V4 is the file and V6 missed it. Default is V6. V4 is the older card, not a quality upgrade with a microphone.

    Are V4 and V6 image-to-video?

No. Both published categories are text-to-video. No still required. If you have a pack photo, pick an I2V slug.
