Seedance 2.0 Fast R2V is 55 credits
Seedance 2.0 Fast R2V is 55 credits (was 78), 720p, native audio, 4–15s. Full Seedance 2.0 starts at 44. Fast is the draft/ref row.
Seedance 2.0 Fast Reference to Video is 55 credits (was 78), 720p, native audio, 4–15 seconds. Full Seedance 2.0 starts at 44 credits, 1080p, 4–15 seconds, text-to-video and reference-to-video, native audio. Fast is the draft/ref row. It is not a 1080p discount on the same file. Fast bills 14 credits a second (20 before its discount); full 2.0 bills 11 a second at SD and 25 at HD.
The Fast card: audio true, category reference-to-video only, durations every second from 4s through 15s, 720p, 55 credits, discounted from 78. Description: cinematic videos from reference images, videos, and audio inputs with native audio-visual sync, optimized for faster generation at lower cost.
The full 2.0 card: audio true, categories text-to-video and reference-to-video, 4–15s, 1080p, 44 credits. Description: Hollywood-grade cinematic videos from text prompts with native audio-visual sync.
Same family length. Same native-audio flag. Different category set, different resolution, different sticker. This page is when 55 is the correct bill.
What Fast R2V requires you to bring
References. The slug is reference-to-video. If you have only a sentence, you are on full Seedance 2.0 T2V from 44, or on a cheaper T2V family, not on Fast.
Bring the stack that must survive: pack front, pack three-quarter, talent still if talent is locked, room still if the room is locked. Prompt the camera and the verb. Do not re-letter the label in prose.
Native audio is on. Write whether anyone speaks. SKU orbits usually want foley and no voice. Say “no speech.” A 55-credit surprise monologue is still a wasted take.
Duration: 4–15s, same as full 2.0. Fast does not buy you 20s or 30s. Seedance 2.5 is the 4–30s card, 34 credits (was 67), 720p, text-to-video, native audio. Fast R2V is not 2.5. Fast is 2.0’s cheaper ref door at 720p.
Resolution: 720p on Fast, 1080p on full 2.0. If the insertion order is 1080p, Fast is look-dev. If the feed is 720p, Fast can be the ship row. Sora 2 T2V was 720p; a Sora SKU leftover that already lived at 720p does not automatically need full 2.0 at 1080p.
Fifty-five credits is the catalog sticker, and the card is marked discounted from 78. The rate behind it is 14 credits a second; do not average it with full 2.0’s 44 to invent a different one.
Fast versus full 2.0, in production order
Start on Fast when the stills are new. You do not yet know if the cap still, the hand, and the camera move can coexist. 55 credits is how you find out. Full 2.0 at 25 credits a second is how you find out later.
Stay on Fast when 720p is the master. Many social cuts never need 1080p. Shipping Fast is allowed. “We have a 1080p row” is not a reason to rerun a keeper.
Move to full 2.0 when lettering must survive a 1080p pixel-peep, or when you need T2V on the same family. Full 2.0 is the only one of the two that publishes text-to-video. Fast will not invent a scene from a prompt without refs. If someone deleted the stills, Fast is the wrong door.
Do not ping-pong. A Fast keeper is 720p identity. A full 2.0 generate is a new 1080p identity unless the refs are strong. Promote the refs and the brief, not the Fast pixels, if you must go 1080p.
Compare neighbouring cheap ref/draft rows so Fast is not a reflex:
- Kling 3 Turbo: 22 credits (was 27), T2V, silent, 1080p, 3–15s. Cheaper picture drafts, no native audio, no ref contract.
- Wan 2.7 R2V: 20 credits, 2–10s, 1080p, audio null. Cheaper stack, shorter, no native-audio true.
- Veo 3.1 Reference to Video: 128 credits, 8s, native audio. One tick, Google identity, not 4–15s.
- Full Seedance 2.0: 44 credits to start, 1080p, T2V+R2V.
Fast sits in the hole: 4–15s, native audio, 720p, refs required, 55 credits.
How to run a Fast batch without lying to review
Label the folder “720p ref drafts.” Reviewers who think they are signing 1080p will bounce a perfect Fast take for the wrong reason.
Match duration to the move. A 15-second Fast orbit of a pack that only needs 6 seconds is how the last third invents a second label.
Keep rejected Fast takes out of the next ref stack. A cousin bottle as a “style ref” teaches the cousin.
If Fast holds and you still need 1080p, rerun once on full 2.0 with the same stills and the same camera sentence. If it fails, fix stills, do not stack expensive adjectives.
If Fast holds and you need longer than 15s, you are leaving 2.0 Fast. Seedance 2.5 T2V is 4–30s at 720p, 34 credits, native audio, but its published category is text-to-video. Drive it from a still via AI image-to-video if you must, and re-check identity. Flux 3 first-last is 34 credits, 5–20s, if two frames define the travel.
Caption Fast files you will test in a feed. Native audio does not help mute autoplay. Add captions to video. UGC cuts still need readable type in the safe area.
When Fast is the wrong idea
No references. Fast will not become T2V because the card is discounted. Use full 2.0 T2V or a cheaper T2V row.
Dialogue hero at 4K. Veo 3.1, 64 credits, 4 / 6 / 8s. Fast is 720p R2V.
Silent composition only. Turbo, 22 credits.
You already have a 1080p Seedance 2.0 keeper. Do not “optimize” it by running Fast. Fast cannot upscale that identity; it can only make a 720p cousin.
You wanted Seedance 2.5’s 30 seconds. Wrong slug. 34 credits, 720p, 4–30s, T2V.
Sora SKU leftovers that were 720p with a still belong here more often than they belong on full 2.0. The SKU replacement page is the identity story. This page is the 55-credit sticker.

FAQ
Is Fast R2V 55 credits at 1080p?
No. 55 credits (was 78), 720p, 4–15s, native audio, reference-to-video. 1080p is the full Seedance 2.0 card, from 44 credits.
Can Fast R2V do text-to-video?
Not on the published card. Category is reference-to-video only. Full Seedance 2.0 publishes T2V and R2V. No stills means you are not on Fast.
Why use Fast if Seedance 2.5 is 34 credits to 30s?
Different jobs. Fast is 4–15s R2V at 55 credits. 2.5 is 4–30s T2V at 34 credits, still 720p. Need refs and fifteen seconds or less: Fast. Need a thirty-second single pass: 2.5. Need 1080p: full 2.0 from 44, 15s ceiling.
