This is not a promise about how carefully we handle your upload. There is no upload. The file you choose is read into memory by your own browser, processed there, and handed back as a download — the tool has no server component and makes no network request with your data.
- Nothing is stored. We never receive the file, so there is no copy to retain, no retention period to disclose, and nothing to delete on request.
- Nothing is transmitted. No upload endpoint, no analytics payload carrying file contents, no third-party processor.
- You can verify it. Load this page, disconnect from the internet, and use the tool. It still works, because everything it needs is already on your machine.
- Nothing persists after you close the tab. Files are held in page memory only — not in local storage, not in a cache, not in a database.
A note on wording, because it matters: we do not describe these tools as “encrypted.” Encryption protects data that travels to somebody else's computer. Your file does not travel, so there is nothing to encrypt and nothing to intercept — which is a stronger guarantee than encryption, not a weaker one. The page itself is served over HTTPS like the rest of the site.
This makes the tools safe for material you are contractually barred from uploading to third-party services — client footage under NDA, unreleased campaign assets, anything covered by a confidentiality clause.
How it works

2. Set slides and shape
Pick 4:5, 1:1 or 3:4 and 2 to 10 slides. The tool suggests the count that fits your image; zoom and position move the crop.
3. Check seams and margins
Solid lines mark where slides meet and dashed boxes show a safe margin you set. Swipe the preview to see it move.
4. Export
Download every slide as a numbered JPEG or PNG in a ZIP, or one at a time, then add them to one post in order.
Questions
What size are seamless carousel slides?
Every slide is 1,080 pixels wide, Instagram's maximum photo width. Height follows the shape you pick: 1350 for 4:5, 1080 for 1:1 and 1440 for 3:4. All slides in one carousel share the same shape, which is also how Instagram displays them.
How many slides can a panorama have?
This tool makes 2 to 10. Instagram carousels take up to 20 photos or videos, but a panorama wider than 10 slides is rarely watched to the end. The tool suggests the count that uses the most of your image, based on its width-to-height ratio.
What is the safe-margin guide?
A dashed box, set as a percentage of the slide width, that reminds you to keep faces and text away from the edges and the seams. Instagram does not publish a safe zone for carousel slides, so the margin is yours to choose and it never appears in the exported files.
Why does my panorama look soft?
A 5-slide 4:5 carousel is 5,400 pixels wide in total. If your crop is narrower, each slide gets enlarged, and the tool tells you how many source pixels each slide really has. Use fewer slides or a larger original.
Does the IG carousel maker already do this?
No. The IG carousel maker puts a separate image and bold hook text on each slide. This tool cuts one wide picture into slides that join up across the swipe.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is decoded and split in your browser, and the ZIP is built in the page. Nothing leaves your device.
